قَالَ بَلْ فَعَلَهٗ كَبِيْرُهُمْ هٰذَا فَسْـَٔلُوْهُمْ اِنْ كَانُوْا يَنْطِقُوْنَ ( الأنبياء: ٦٣ )
He said
قَالَ
Er sagte;
"Nay
بَلْ
"Nein! Vielmehr
(some doer) did it
فَعَلَهُۥ
hat es getan
Their chief
كَبِيرُهُمْ
ihr Großer
(is) this
هَٰذَا
dieser.
So ask them
فَسْـَٔلُوهُمْ
So fragt sie,
if
إِن
falls
they (can)
كَانُوا۟
sie sind
speak"
يَنطِقُونَ
Redende."
Qāla Bal Fa`alahu Kabīruhum Hādhā Fās'alūhum 'In Kānū Yanţiqūna. (al-ʾAnbiyāʾ 21:63)
A. S. F. Bubenheim and N. Elyas:
Er sagte; "Nein! Vielmehr hat das dieser Große unter ihnen getan. Fragt sie doch, wenn sie reden können." ([21] al-Anbiya (Die Propheten) : 63)
English Sahih:
He said, "Rather, this – the largest of them – did it, so ask them, if they should [be able to] speak." ([21] Al-Anbya : 63)
