وَقَالَ فِرْعَوْنُ يٰٓاَيُّهَا الْمَلَاُ مَا عَلِمْتُ لَكُمْ مِّنْ اِلٰهٍ غَيْرِيْۚ فَاَوْقِدْ لِيْ يٰهَامٰنُ عَلَى الطِّيْنِ فَاجْعَلْ لِّيْ صَرْحًا لَّعَلِّيْٓ اَطَّلِعُ اِلٰٓى اِلٰهِ مُوْسٰىۙ وَاِنِّيْ لَاَظُنُّهٗ مِنَ الْكٰذِبِيْنَ ( القصص: ٣٨ )
Wa Qāla Fir`awnu Yā 'Ayyuhā Al-Mala'u Mā `Alimtu Lakum Min 'Ilahin Ghayrī Fa'awqid Lī Yā Hāmānu `Alaá Aţ-Ţīni Fāj`al Lī Şarĥāan La`allī 'Aţţali`u 'Ilaá 'Ilahi Mūsaá Wa 'Innī La'ažunnuhu Mina Al-Kādhibīna. (al-Q̈aṣaṣ 28:38)

Und Fir'aun sagte; "O ihr führende Schar, keinen anderen Gott weiß ich für euch als mich (selbst). So entfache mir, o Haman, einen Brand auf Lehm, und mache mir einen Hochbau, auf daß ich zum Gott Musas emporsteige. Ich glaube fürwahr, daß er zu den Lügnern gehört." ([28] al-Qasas (Die Geschichten) : 38)
English Sahih:
And Pharaoh said, "O eminent ones, I have not known you to have a god other than me. Then ignite for me, O Haman, [a fire] upon the clay and make for me a tower that I may look at the God of Moses. And indeed, I do think he is among the liars." ([28] Al-Qasas : 38)

Und Pharao sagte; "Ihr Entscheidungsträger! Ich wußte für euch von keinem anderen Gott außer mir! Also Haman behandle meinetwegen die Erde mit Feuer und lasse für mich einen Turm errichten! Vielleicht schaue ich dann auf Musas Gott, und ich halte ihn zweifelsohne für einen von den Lügnern."
