وَرَبُّكَ يَخْلُقُ مَا يَشَاۤءُ وَيَخْتَارُ ۗمَا كَانَ لَهُمُ الْخِيَرَةُ ۗسُبْحٰنَ اللّٰهِ وَتَعٰلٰى عَمَّا يُشْرِكُوْنَ ( القصص: ٦٨ )
And your Lord
وَرَبُّكَ
Und dein Herr
creates
يَخْلُقُ
erschafft,
what
مَا
was
He wills
يَشَآءُ
er will
and chooses
وَيَخْتَارُۗ
und wählt.
Not
مَا
Nicht
they have
كَانَ
steht zu
for them
لَهُمُ
ihnen
the choice
ٱلْخِيَرَةُۚ
das Wählen.
Glory be
سُبْحَٰنَ
Preis sei
(to) Allah
ٱللَّهِ
Allah
and High is He
وَتَعَٰلَىٰ
und erhaben ist er,
above what
عَمَّا
über was
they associate (with Him)
يُشْرِكُونَ
sie beigesellen.
Wa Rabbuka Yakhluqu Mā Yashā'u Wa Yakhtāru Mā Kāna Lahumu Al-Khiyaratu Subĥāna Allāhi Wa Ta`ālaá `Ammā Yushrikūna. (al-Q̈aṣaṣ 28:68)
A. S. F. Bubenheim and N. Elyas:
Und dein Herr erschafft, was Er will, und wählt. Ihnen aber steht es nicht zu, zu wählen. Preis sei Allah! Erhaben ist Er über das, was sie (Ihm) beigesellen. ([28] al-Qasas (Die Geschichten) : 68)
English Sahih:
And your Lord creates what He wills and chooses; not for them was the choice. Exalted is Allah and high above what they associate with Him. ([28] Al-Qasas : 68)
