وَاِذَا قِيْلَ لَهُمُ اتَّبِعُوْا مَآ اَنْزَلَ اللّٰهُ قَالُوْا بَلْ نَتَّبِعُ مَا وَجَدْنَا عَلَيْهِ اٰبَاۤءَنَاۗ اَوَلَوْ كَانَ الشَّيْطٰنُ يَدْعُوْهُمْ اِلٰى عَذَابِ السَّعِيْرِ ( لقمان: ٢١ )
Wa 'Idhā Qīla Lahum Attabi`ū Mā 'Anzala Allāhu Qālū Bal Nattabi`u Mā Wajadnā `Alayhi 'Ābā'anā 'Awalaw Kāna Ash-Shayţānu Yad`ūhum 'Ilaá `Adhābi As-Sa`īri. (Luq̈mān 31:21)
A. S. F. Bubenheim and N. Elyas:
Und wenn zu ihnen gesagt wird; "Folgt dem, was Allah herabgesandt hat", sagen sie; "Nein! Vielmehr folgen wir dem, worin wir unsere Väter vorgefunden haben." Was denn, auch wenn der Satan sie zur Strafe der Feuerglut einlädt? ([31] Luqman : 21)
English Sahih:
And when it is said to them, "Follow what Allah has revealed," they say, "Rather, we will follow that upon which we found our fathers." Even if Satan was inviting them to the punishment of the Blaze? ([31] Luqman : 21)
