۞ وَمَنْ يُّسْلِمْ وَجْهَهٗٓ اِلَى اللّٰهِ وَهُوَ مُحْسِنٌ فَقَدِ اسْتَمْسَكَ بِالْعُرْوَةِ الْوُثْقٰىۗ وَاِلَى اللّٰهِ عَاقِبَةُ الْاُمُوْرِ ( لقمان: ٢٢ )
And whoever
وَمَن
Und wer
submits
يُسْلِمْ
richtet
his face
وَجْهَهُۥٓ
sein Gesicht
to
إِلَى
zu
Allah
ٱللَّهِ
Allah
while he
وَهُوَ
und dabei
(is) a good- doer
مُحْسِنٌ
(ist) ein Gutes-tuender,
then indeed
فَقَدِ
wahrlich,
he has grasped
ٱسْتَمْسَكَ
hat er ergriffen
the handhold
بِٱلْعُرْوَةِ
die Handhabe.
the most trustworthy
ٱلْوُثْقَىٰۗ
festeste
And to
وَإِلَى
Und zu
Allah
ٱللَّهِ
Allah
(is the) end
عَٰقِبَةُ
(ist) das Ende
(of) the matters
ٱلْأُمُورِ
der Angelegenheiten.
Wa Man Yuslim Wajhahu 'Ilaá Allāhi Wa Huwa Muĥsinun Faqadi Astamsaka Bil-`Urwati Al-Wuthqaá Wa 'Ilaá Allāhi `Āqibatu Al-'Umūri. (Luq̈mān 31:22)
A. S. F. Bubenheim and N. Elyas:
Wer sich Allah völlig hingibt und dabei Gutes tut, der hält sich an die festeste Handhabe. Und zu Allah (führt) das Ende der Angelegenheiten. ([31] Luqman : 22)
English Sahih:
And whoever submits his face [i.e., self] to Allah while he is a doer of good – then he has grasped the most trustworthy handhold. And to Allah will be the outcome of [all] matters. ([31] Luqman : 22)
