اَسْبَابَ السَّمٰوٰتِ فَاَطَّلِعَ اِلٰٓى اِلٰهِ مُوْسٰى وَاِنِّيْ لَاَظُنُّهٗ كَاذِبًا ۗوَكَذٰلِكَ زُيِّنَ لِفِرْعَوْنَ سُوْۤءُ عَمَلِهٖ وَصُدَّ عَنِ السَّبِيْلِ ۗوَمَا كَيْدُ فِرْعَوْنَ اِلَّا فِيْ تَبَابٍ ࣖ ( غافر: ٣٧ )
'Asbāba As-Samāwāti Fa'aţţali`a 'Ilaá 'Ilahi Mūsaá Wa 'Innī La'ažunnuhu Kādhibāan Wa Kadhalika Zuyyina Lifir`awna Sū'u `Amalihi Wa Şudda `Ani As-Sabīli Wa Mā Kaydu Fir`awna 'Illā Fī Tabābin. (Ghāfir 40:37)

die Seile der Himmel, daß ich zum Gott Musas emporsteige, und ich halte ihn wahrlich für einen Lügner." So wurde Fir'aun sein böses Tun ausgeschmückt, und er wurde vom (rechten) Weg abgehalten. Aber Fir'auns listige Tat wird nur zugrunde gehen. ([40] Gafir (Der Vergebende) : 37)
English Sahih:
The ways into the heavens – so that I may look at the deity of Moses; but indeed, I think he is a liar." And thus was made attractive to Pharaoh the evil of his deed, and he was averted from the [right] way. And the plan of Pharaoh was not except in ruin. ([40] Ghafir : 37)

die Wege des Himmels, dann schaue ich auf Musas Gott, und gewiß, ich denke, daß er ja ein Lügner ist." Solcherart wurde Pharao das Schlechte seines Tuns schön gemacht, und er wurde vom Weg abgehalten. Und Pharaos List wurde zu Nichts außer zu Verlust.
