يٰٓاَيُّهَا النَّبِيُّ لِمَ تُحَرِّمُ مَآ اَحَلَّ اللّٰهُ لَكَۚ تَبْتَغِيْ مَرْضَاتَ اَزْوَاجِكَۗ وَاللّٰهُ غَفُوْرٌ رَّحِيْمٌ ( التحريم: ١ )
O!
يَٰٓأَيُّهَا
O
Prophet!
ٱلنَّبِىُّ
Prophet
Why (do)
لِمَ

تُحَرِّمُ

أَحَلَّ
erlaubt hat
Allah
ٱللَّهُ

for you
لَكَۖ

seeking
تَبْتَغِى

مَرْضَاتَ
(der) Zufriedenheit
your wives?
أَزْوَٰجِكَۚ
deiner Gattinnen
And Allah
وَٱللَّهُ
Und Allah (ist)
(is) Oft-Forgiving
غَفُورٌ
Allvergebend
Most Merciful
رَّحِيمٌ
Barmherzig
Yā 'Ayyuhā An-Nabīyu Lima Tuĥarrimu Mā 'Aĥalla Allāhu Laka Tabtaghī Marđāata 'Azwājika Wa Allāhu Ghafūrun Raĥīmun. (at-Taḥrīm 66:1)
A. S. F. Bubenheim and N. Elyas:
O Prophet, warum verbietest du, was Allah dir erlaubt hat, indem du da nach trachtest, die Zufriedenheit deiner Gattinnen zu erlangen? Und Allah ist Allvergebend und Barmherzig. ([66] at-Tahrim (Das Verbieten) : 1)
English Sahih:
O Prophet, why do you prohibit [yourself from] what Allah has made lawful for you, seeking the approval of your wives? And Allah is Forgiving and Merciful. ([66] At-Tahrim : 1)
