وَتِلْكَ عَادٌ ۖجَحَدُوْا بِاٰيٰتِ رَبِّهِمْ وَعَصَوْا رُسُلَهٗ وَاتَّبَعُوْٓا اَمْرَ كُلِّ جَبَّارٍ عَنِيْدٍ  ( هود: ٥٩ )

وَتِلْكَ
And this
ʿādun
عَادٌۖ
(was) Aad
jaḥadū
جَحَدُوا۟
they rejected
biāyāti
بِـَٔايَٰتِ
(the) Signs
rabbihim
رَبِّهِمْ
(of) their Lord
waʿaṣaw
وَعَصَوْا۟
and disobeyed
rusulahu
رُسُلَهُۥ
His Messengers
wa-ittabaʿū
وَٱتَّبَعُوٓا۟
and followed
amra
أَمْرَ
(the) command
kulli
كُلِّ
(of) every
jabbārin
جَبَّارٍ
tyrant
ʿanīdin
عَنِيدٍ
obstinate

Wa tilka 'aad, jahadoo bi Aayaati Rabbihim wa 'asaw Rusulahoo wattaba'ooo amra kulli jabbaarin 'aneed (Hūd 11:59)

Sahih International:

And that was Aad, who rejected the signs of their Lord and disobeyed His messengers and followed the order of every obstinate tyrant. (Hud [11] : 59)

Such was the tribe of ‘Ād who rejected the signs of their Lord, disobeyed their Messengers and followed the dictates of every obstinate tyrant!
