Al-Masad Verse 4

and ˹so will˺ his wife, the carrier of ˹thorny˺ kindling,[[ Since she used to carry thorny branches and throw them in the way of the Prophet (ﷺ), she will be carrying firewood in Hell.]]

and so will his wife, the carrier of firewood,

and his wife, the carrier of the firewood,

and so will his wife, the firewood-carrier,

And his wife also: the firewood carrier;

His wife shall carry the (crackling) wood - As fuel!-

along with his wife, that carrier of slanderous tales;

And his wife, the portress of fire wood,

And so will his wife; carrying a bundle of firewood on her head.

and his wife [too], the firewood carrier,

And (with him) his wife, carrier of firewood (and of evil tales and slander),

And his wife too, the carrier of fire wood and bearer of slanders and calumnies (will also be enveloped in the flames);

And his woman (wife) the fire wood`s/fuel`s carrier/lifter

And so will his wife; carrying a bundle of firewood on her head.

And his wife shall carry the wood as fuel

And his wife too, who carries wood (thorns of Sadan which she used to put on the way of the Prophet (Peace be upon him), or use to slander him).

And his wife -- the bearer of slander;

And his wife, the bearer of fuel,

And his wife, the wood-carrier,

He will suffer in a blazing fire

and his wife, laden with firewood

And his wife too, who carries wood.

and also his wife who carries the fuel,

And his wife—the firewood carrier.

and his wife (wa'mra'atuhu is a supplement to the person [of the verb] yasl, `he will enter', separated by the clause of the direct object and its qualification) -- and this was Umm Jaml -- the carrier (read hammlatu or hammlata) of firewood, cactus and thorns which she used to fling into the path of the Prophet (s).

And his wife too, who carries wood.

His wife was among the leading women of the Quraysh and she was known as Umm Jamil. Her name was Arwah bint Harb bin Umayyah and she was the sister of Abu Sufyan. She was supportive of her husband in his disbelief, rejection and obstinacy. Therefore, she will be helping to administer his punishment in the fire of Hell on the Day of Judgement.

Thus, Allah says,

حَمَّالَةَ الْحَطَبِ


فِي جِيدِهَا حَبْلٌ مِّن مَّسَدٍ

Along with his slanderous wife who carried bundles of thorny wood (and laid them in the Prophet’s path to cause him bodily injury and to render his mission vain)
