حَتّٰٓى اِذَا اسْتَا۟يْـَٔسَ الرُّسُلُ وَظَنُّوْٓا اَنَّهُمْ قَدْ كُذِبُوْا جَاۤءَهُمْ نَصْرُنَاۙ فَنُجِّيَ مَنْ نَّشَاۤءُ ۗوَلَا يُرَدُّ بَأْسُنَا عَنِ الْقَوْمِ الْمُجْرِمِيْنَ  ( يوسف: ١١٠ )

ḥattā
حَتَّىٰٓ
Until
idhā
إِذَا
when
is'tayasa
ٱسْتَيْـَٔسَ
gave up hope
l-rusulu
ٱلرُّسُلُ
the Messengers
waẓannū
وَظَنُّوٓا۟
and thought
annahum
أَنَّهُمْ
that they
qad
قَدْ
certainly
kudhibū
كُذِبُوا۟
were denied
jāahum
جَآءَهُمْ
then came to them
naṣrunā
نَصْرُنَا
Our help
fanujjiya
فَنُجِّىَ
and was saved
man
مَن
whom
nashāu
نَّشَآءُۖ
We willed
walā
وَلَا
And not
yuraddu
يُرَدُّ
(can) be repelled
basunā
بَأْسُنَا
Our punishment
ʿani
عَنِ
from
l-qawmi
ٱلْقَوْمِ
the people
l-muj'rimīna
ٱلْمُجْرِمِينَ
(who are) criminals

Hattaaa izas tai'asar Rusulu wa zannooo annahum qad kuziboo jaaa'ahum nas runaa fanujjiya man nashaaa'u wa laa yuraddu baasunna 'anil qawmil mujrimeen (Yūsuf 12:110)

Sahih International:

[They continued] until, when the messengers despaired and were certain that they had been denied, there came to them Our victory, and whoever We willed was saved. And Our punishment cannot be repelled from the people who are criminals. (Yusuf [12] : 110)

(Punishment was often delayed) until when the messengers were in despair and thought that they were wrong in their estimation, Our help came to them, then saved were those whom We willed. And Our punishment is not averted from the guilty.
