قَالَ رَبِّ السِّجْنُ اَحَبُّ اِلَيَّ مِمَّا يَدْعُوْنَنِيْٓ اِلَيْهِ ۚوَاِلَّا تَصْرِفْ عَنِّيْ كَيْدَهُنَّ اَصْبُ اِلَيْهِنَّ وَاَكُنْ مِّنَ الْجٰهِلِيْنَ   ( يوسف: ٣٣ )

"My Lord
l-sij'nu
ٱلسِّجْنُ
the prison
aḥabbu
أَحَبُّ
(is) dearer
ilayya
إِلَىَّ
to me
mimmā
مِمَّا
than what
yadʿūnanī
يَدْعُونَنِىٓ
they invite me
ilayhi
إِلَيْهِۖ
to it
wa-illā
وَإِلَّا
And unless
taṣrif
تَصْرِفْ
You turn away
ʿannī
عَنِّى
from me
kaydahunna
كَيْدَهُنَّ
their plot
aṣbu
أَصْبُ
I might incline
ilayhinna
إِلَيْهِنَّ
towards them
wa-akun
وَأَكُن
and [I] be
mina
مِّنَ
of
l-jāhilīna
ٱلْجَٰهِلِينَ
the ignorant"

Qaala rabbis sijnu ahabbu ilaiya mimma yad'oo naneee 'ilaihi wa illaa tasrif 'annee kaidahunna asbu ilaihinna wa akum minal jaahileen (Yūsuf 12:33)

Sahih International:

He said, "My Lord, prison is more to my liking than that to which they invite me. And if You do not avert from me their plan, I might incline toward them and [thus] be of the ignorant." (Yusuf [12] : 33)

1 Mufti Taqi Usmani

He (Yūsuf) said, “My Lord, the prison is dearer to me than what these women invite me to do. If You do not turn their guile away from me, I shall get inclined towards them and shall be among the ignorant.”
