Maryam Verse 61

˹They will be in˺ the Gardens of Eternity, promised in trust by the Most Compassionate to His servants. Surely His promise will be fulfilled.

Gardens of Eternity which the Most Compassionate has promised His slaves who have not seen them. His promise will surely be fulfilled.

Gardens of Eden that the All-merciful promised His servants in the Unseen; His promise is ever performed.

they will enter the Gardens of Lasting Bliss, promised by the Lord of Mercy to His servants- it is not yet seen but truly His promise will be fulfilled.

Gardens Everlasting, which the Compassionate hath promised unto his bondmen, unseen; verily His premise is ever to be fulfilled. *Chapter: 19

Gardens of Eternity, those which (Allah) Most Gracious has promised to His servants in the Unseen; for His promise must (necessarily) come to pass.

Theirs shall be everlasting Gardens which the Most Compassionate Lord has promised His servants in a realm which is beyond the ken of perception. Surely His promise shall he fulfilled.

In the gardens of Eden promised by Ar-Rahman to His creatures in the unknown (future). Verily His promise will come to pass.

Everlasting Gardens of Eden, which the Most Gracious has promised to His bondmen in the unseen; indeed His promise will come.

Gardens of Eden promised by the All-beneficent to His servants, [while they were still] unseen. Indeed His promise is bound to come to pass.

Gardens of perpetual bliss which the All-Merciful has promised to His servants while unseen (beyond the perception and knowledge of the servants). His promise is ever sure of fulfillment.

Gardens of Eternity which the Most Gracious (God) has promised to his servants while (these Gardens are) yet hidden (from the sight). His promise is sure to come to pass.

Treed gardens/paradises (as) eternal residence which the merciful promises His worshippers/slaves with the unseen/hidden , that He truly, His promise was/is coming (E).

Everlasting Gardens of Eden, which the Most Gracious has promised to His bondmen in the unseen; indeed His promise will come.

Save such as repent and believe and act right; for these shall enter the Garden and shall not be wronged in aught,

(They will enter) 'Adn (Eden) Paradise (everlasting Gardens), which the Most Beneficent (Allah) has promised to His slaves in the unseen: Verily! His Promise must come to pass.

Except those who repent and believe and do good -- such will enter the Garden, and they will not be wronged in aught:

The gardens of perpetuity which the Beneficent Allah has promised to His servants while unseen; surely His promise shall come to pass.

Gardens of Eden, which the Beneficent hath promised to His slaves in the unseen. Lo! His promise is ever sure of fulfilment -

They will be admitted to the garden of Eden which is the unseen promise of the Beneficent God to His servants. The promise of God will certainly come true.

(They shall enter the) Gardens of Eden, which the Merciful has promised His worshipers in the Unseen. Indeed, His promise shall come.

(They will enter) `Adn Gardens which the Most Gracious has promised to His servants in the unseen. Verily, His promise must come to pass.

Theirs shall be the Gardens of Eden, which the All Merciful has promised to His servants without their having seen them, and most surely His promise shall be fulfilled.

The Gardens of Eden, promised by the Most Merciful to His servants in the Unseen. His promise will certainly come true.

[they shall enter] Gardens of Eden, as [a place of] residence (jannti `Adnin, substitutes for al-janna, `Paradise') which the Compassionate One has promised to His servants [a promise] in the Unseen (bi'l- ghaybi, a circumstantial qualifier, in other words [a promise made while] they do not see it). Indeed His promise, that is to say, that which He promises, is ever fulfilled, meaning that it always arrives (the original [form of ma'tiyyan] is ma'tyun); or [what is meant by] His promise here is Paradise, to which those deserving of it shall arrive.

The Description of the Gardens of the Truthful and Those Who repent

Allah, the Exalted, says;

جَنَّاتِ عَدْنٍ الَّتِي وَعَدَ الرَّحْمَنُ عِبَادَهُ بِالْغَيْبِ

They will enter `Adn Gardens which the Most Gracious has promised to His servants in the unseen.

Allah, the Exalted, says that the Gardens (of Paradise), which the penitent will enter, will be Gardens of `Adn, meaning, eternity.

These are Gardens that the Most Beneficent promises His servants in the unseen.

This means that these Gardens are from the unseen things that they believe in, even though they have never witnessed them. They believe in the unseen out of their strong conviction and the strength of their faith.

Concerning Allah's statement,

إِنَّهُ كَانَ وَعْدُهُ مَأْتِيًّا



Verily, His promise must come to pass.

This affirms the fact that this will occur, and that it is a settled matter. Allah does not break His promise, nor does He change it.

This is similar to His statement,

كَانَ وَعْدُهُ مَفْعُولاً

His promise is certainly to be accomplished. (73;18)

This means that His promise will be and there is no avoiding it.

Allah's statement here,
مَأْتِيًّا
(must come to pass),

This means that it will come to His servants who are striving towards it and they will reach it.

There are those commentators who said,
مَأْتِيًّا
(must come to pass),

"This means it is coming, because everything that comes to you, you also come to it.

This is as the Arabs say, `Fifty years came to me, and I came to fifty years.' They both mean the same thing (I'm fifty years old)."
