قَالَ رَبِّ اَنّٰى يَكُوْنُ لِيْ غُلٰمٌ وَّكَانَتِ امْرَاَتِيْ عَاقِرًا وَّقَدْ بَلَغْتُ مِنَ الْكِبَرِ عِتِيًّا   ( مريم: ٨ )

He said

"My Lord!

أَنَّىٰ
How
yakūnu
يَكُونُ
can
لِى
I have
ghulāmun
غُلَٰمٌ
a boy
wakānati
وَكَانَتِ
while is
im'ra-atī
ٱمْرَأَتِى
my wife
ʿāqiran
عَاقِرًا
barren
waqad
وَقَدْ
and indeed
balaghtu
بَلَغْتُ
I have reached
mina
مِنَ
of
l-kibari
ٱلْكِبَرِ
the old age
ʿitiyyan
عِتِيًّا
extreme?"

Qaala Rabbi annaa yakoonu lee ghulaamunw wa kaanatim ra atee aaqiranw wa qad balaghtu minal kibari 'itiyyaa (Maryam 19:8)

Sahih International:

He said, "My Lord, how will I have a boy when my wife has been barren and I have reached extreme old age?" (Maryam [19] : 8)

He Said, “My Lord, how shall there be a boy for me while my wife is barren, and I have reached the extreme of old age?”
