قَالَ بَلْ اَلْقُوْاۚ فَاِذَا حِبَالُهُمْ وَعِصِيُّهُمْ يُخَيَّلُ اِلَيْهِ مِنْ سِحْرِهِمْ اَنَّهَا تَسْعٰى  ( طه: ٦٦ )

fa-idhā
فَإِذَا
Then behold!
ḥibāluhum
حِبَالُهُمْ
Their ropes
waʿiṣiyyuhum
وَعِصِيُّهُمْ
and their staffs
yukhayyalu
يُخَيَّلُ
seemed
ilayhi
إِلَيْهِ
to him
min
مِن
by
siḥ'rihim
سِحْرِهِمْ
their magic
annahā
أَنَّهَا
that they
tasʿā
تَسْعَىٰ
(were) moving

Qaala bal alqoo fa izaa hibaaluhum wa 'isiyyuhum yuhaiyalu ilaihi min sihrihim annahaa tas'aa (Ṭāʾ Hāʾ 20:66)

Sahih International:

He said, "Rather, you throw." And suddenly their ropes and staffs seemed to him from their magic that they were moving [like snakes]. (Taha [20] : 66)

1 Mufti Taqi Usmani

He said, “Rather, you throw.” Then, suddenly their ropes and sticks seemed to him, due to their magic, as if they were running.
