۞ وَمَنْ يَّقُلْ مِنْهُمْ اِنِّيْٓ اِلٰهٌ مِّنْ دُوْنِهٖ فَذٰلِكَ نَجْزِيْهِ جَهَنَّمَۗ كَذٰلِكَ نَجْزِى الظّٰلِمِيْنَ ࣖ  ( الأنبياء: ٢٩ )

waman
وَمَن
And whoever
yaqul
يَقُلْ
says
min'hum
مِنْهُمْ
of them
innī
إِنِّىٓ
"Indeed, I am
ilāhun
إِلَٰهٌ
a god
min
مِّن
besides Him"
dūnihi
دُونِهِۦ
besides Him"
fadhālika
فَذَٰلِكَ
Then that
najzīhi
نَجْزِيهِ
We will recompense
jahannama
جَهَنَّمَۚ
(with) Hell
kadhālika
كَذَٰلِكَ
Thus
najzī
نَجْزِى
We recompense
l-ẓālimīna
ٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ
the wrongdoers

Wa mai yaqul minhum inneee ilaahum min doonihee fazaalika najzeehi Jahannam; kazaalika najziz zaalimeen (al-ʾAnbiyāʾ 21:29)

Sahih International:

And whoever of them should say, "Indeed, I am a god besides Him" – that one We would recompense with Hell. Thus do We recompense the wrongdoers. (Al-Anbya [21] : 29)

1 Mufti Taqi Usmani

Should any one of them say, “I am god besides Him”, We will recompense him with Jahannam (Hell). This is how We recompense the transgressors.
