Al-Anbya Verse 45

Say, ˹O Prophet,˺ “I warn you only by revelation.” But the deaf cannot hear the call when they are warned!

Say, “I only warn you by divine revelation.” But the deaf cannot hear the call when they are warned.

Say: 'I warn you only by the Revelation'; but they that are deaf do not hear the call when they are warned.

Say, ‘I warn you only through the Revelation.’ The deaf will not hear the warning call,

Say thou: I only warn you by the revelation; and the deaf hearken not unto the call when they are warned.

Say, "I do but warn you according to revelation"; But the deaf will not hear the call, (even) when they are warned!

Tell them: "I only warn you by the Revelation." But the deaf do not hear the cry when they are warned.

Say: "I am warning you by God's command." But the deaf do not hear the call when they are warned.

Proclaim (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him) “I warn you only with the divine revelation; and the deaf do not hear the call when warned.”

Say, ‘I indeed warn you by the means of revelation.’ But the deaf do not hear the call when they are warned.

Say: "I warn you only on the strength of the Revelation (in which there is no doubt). But the deaf do not hear the call, however much they are warned."

Say, `It is on the basis of (divine) revelation that I warn you.´ But the deaf do not hear the call when they are warned.

Say: "Truly I warn/give you notice with the inspiration/transmission , and the deaf does not hear the call/prayer if they are being warned/given notice! ."

Proclaim (O dear Prophet Mohammed - peace and blessings be upon him) "I warn you only with the divine revelation; and the deaf do not hear the call when warned."

Nay, but We have granted enjoyment to these men and to their fathers until the period grew long for them. Do they not see that We come to the land and shorten its borders? Shall they then prevail?

Say (O Muhammad SAW): "I warn you only by the revelation (from Allah and not by the opinion of the religious scholars and others). But the deaf (who follow the religious scholars and others blindly) will not hear the call, (even) when they are warned [(i.e. one should follow only the Quran and the Sunnah (legal ways, orders, acts of worship, statements of Prophet Muhammad SAW, as the Companions of the Prophet SAW did)].

Nay, We gave provision to these and their fathers, until life was prolonged to them. See they not then that We are visiting the land, curtailing it of its sides? Can they then prevail?

Say: I warn you only by revelation; and the deaf do not hear the call whenever they are warned.

Say (O Muhammad, unto mankind): I warn you only by the Inspiration. But the deaf hear not the call when they are warned.

(Muhammad), tell them, "I am warning you by revelation alone." The deaf do not hear any call when they are warned.

Say: 'I warn you only by the Revelation' But the deaf hear nothing when they are warned.

Say: "I warn you only by the revelation. "But the deaf will not hear the call, (even) when they are warned.

Say, "I warn you only through the Revelation." But the deaf can hear nothing when they are warned,

Say, “I am warning you through inspiration.” But the deaf cannot hear the call when they are being warned.

Say, to them; `I warn you only by the Revelation', [that comes] from God, and not by my own prompting. But the deaf do not hear the call when (idh, read pronouncing both hamzas fully, or omitting the second [hamza] between it and the y') they are warned. They are like those who are deaf, when they fail to act in accordance with the warnings they hear.

قُلْ إِنَّمَا أُنذِرُكُم بِالْوَحْيِ

Say;"I warn you only by the revelation."

meaning, `I only convey to you the warning of Allah's punishment and vengeance, and this is no more than that which Allah reveals to me.' But this is of no benefit to the one whom Allah has made blind and has put a seal over his hearing and his heart.

He says;

وَلَا يَسْمَعُ الصُّمُّ الدُّعَاء إِذَا مَا يُنذَرُونَ



But the deaf will not hear the call, (even) when they are warned.

Allah says;

وَلَيِن مَّسَّتْهُمْ نَفْحَةٌ مِّنْ عَذَابِ رَبِّكَ لَيَقُولُنَّ يَا وَيْلَنَا إِنَّا كُنَّا ظَالِمِينَ
