Ash-Shu'ara Verse 148

and ˹various˺ crops, and palm trees ˹loaded˺ with tender fruit;

and in fields of crops and date-palms laden with tender fruit,

sown fields, and palms with slender spathes?

fields, palm trees laden with fruit-

And corn-fields and palm-trees whereof the spathes are fine?

"And corn-fields and date-palms with spathes near breaking (with the weight of fruit)?

and cornfields and date-palms laden with juicy fruits?

The fields of corn and date-palm trees with soft and tender spathes,

“And fields and palm-trees, with delicate tendrils?”

farms and date palms with dainty spathes

"Cornfields and date-palms with heavy bunches (of dates);

`And cornfields and date-palms having (fine and heavy) spathes near breaking.

And plants/crops and palm trees, its first fruit of the season (is) slender/digestible (fine)

“And fields and palm-trees, with delicate tendrils?”

And tilled fields and heavily sheathed palms

And green crops (fields etc.) and date-palms with soft spadix.

Will you be left secure in what is here,

And cornfields and palm-trees having fine spadices?

And tilled fields and heavy-sheathed palm-trees,

farms, and palm-trees in thick groves,

sown fields and palmtrees, with slender spathes.

"And crops and date palms with soft clusters."

and cornfields, and palm-trees laden with fruit --

And fields, and palm-trees whose fruits are delicious?

and farms and date palms with slender, delicate and tender, spathes?

"Will you be left secure in that which you have here, In gardens and springs. And crops and date palms with soft clusters."

They enjoyed Salih preached to them, warning them that the punishment of Allah could overtake them and reminding them of the blessings that Allah had bestowed upon them, by giving them ample provision and making them safe from all kinds of dangers, giving them gardens and flowing springs, and bringing forth for them crops and fruits.

وَنَخْلٍ طَلْعُهَا هَضِيمٌ


and date palms with soft clusters.

Al-Awfi narrated from Ibn Abbas,

"Ripe and rich."

Ali bin Abi Talhah narrated from Ibn Abbas that;

this meant growing luxuriantly.

Ismail bin Abi Khalid narrated from `Amr bin Abi `Amr -- who met the Companions -- from Ibn Abbas that this means,

"When it becomes ripe and soft."

This was narrated by Ibn Abi Hatim, then he said;"And something similar was narrated from Abu Salih."

وَتَنْحِتُونَ مِنَ الْجِبَالِ بُيُوتًا فَارِهِينَ

And vegetal growth and-date palms whose enclosed spadix carries tender delicious and easily digestible fruits
