قَالَ رَبِّ اِنِّيْ ظَلَمْتُ نَفْسِيْ فَاغْفِرْ لِيْ فَغَفَرَ لَهٗ ۗاِنَّهٗ هُوَ الْغَفُوْرُ الرَّحِيْمُ   ( القصص: ١٦ )

qāla
قَالَ
He said
rabbi
رَبِّ
"My Lord!
innī
إِنِّى
Indeed I
ẓalamtu
ظَلَمْتُ
[I] have wronged
nafsī
نَفْسِى
my soul
fa-igh'fir
فَٱغْفِرْ
so forgive
لِى
[for] me"
faghafara
فَغَفَرَ
Then He forgave
lahu
لَهُۥٓۚ
[for] him
innahu
إِنَّهُۥ
Indeed He
huwa
هُوَ
He (is)
l-ghafūru
ٱلْغَفُورُ
the Oft-Forgiving
l-raḥīmu
ٱلرَّحِيمُ
the Most Merciful

Qaala Rabbi innee zalamtu nafsee faghfir lee faghafaralah; innahoo Huwal Ghafoorur Raheem (al-Q̈aṣaṣ 28:16)

Sahih International:

He said, "My Lord, indeed I have wronged myself, so forgive me," and He forgave him. Indeed, He is the Forgiving, the Merciful. (Al-Qasas [28] : 16)

1 Mufti Taqi Usmani

He said, “O my Lord, I have wronged myself, so forgive me.” So He forgave him. Indeed He is the most Forgiving, Very-Merciful.
