وَاِذَا يُتْلٰى عَلَيْهِمْ قَالُوْٓا اٰمَنَّا بِهٖٓ اِنَّهُ الْحَقُّ مِنْ رَّبِّنَآ اِنَّا كُنَّا مِنْ قَبْلِهٖ مُسْلِمِيْنَ   ( القصص: ٥٣ )

wa-idhā
وَإِذَا
And when
yut'lā
يُتْلَىٰ
it is recited
ʿalayhim
عَلَيْهِمْ
to them
qālū
قَالُوٓا۟
they say
āmannā
ءَامَنَّا
"We believe
bihi
بِهِۦٓ
in it
innahu
إِنَّهُ
Indeed, it
l-ḥaqu
ٱلْحَقُّ
(is) the truth
min
مِن
from
rabbinā
رَّبِّنَآ
our Lord
innā
إِنَّا
Indeed, we
kunnā
كُنَّا
[we] were
min
مِن
before it
qablihi
قَبْلِهِۦ
before it
mus'limīna
مُسْلِمِينَ
Muslims"

Wa izaa yutlaa 'alaihim qaaloo aamannaa biheee innahul haqqu mir rabbinaaa innaa kunnaa min qablihee muslimeen (al-Q̈aṣaṣ 28:53)

Sahih International:

And when it is recited to them, they say, "We have believed in it; indeed, it is the truth from our Lord. Indeed we were, [even] before it, Muslims [i.e., submitting to Allah]." (Al-Qasas [28] : 53)

1 Mufti Taqi Usmani

And when this (Qur’ān) is recited to them, they say, “We believe in it. It is the truth from our Lord, and we are the ones who had submitted (to it) even before it (was revealed).”
