As-Saffat Verse 6

Indeed, We have adorned the lowest heaven with the stars for decoration

We have adorned the sky with the beauty of the stars,

We have adorned the lower heaven with the adornment of the stars

We have adorned the lowest heaven with stars,

Verily We! We have adorned the nearest heaven with an adornment: the stars.

We have indeed decked the lower heaven with beauty (in) the stars,-

We have adorned the lower heaven with the adornment of the stars

He decked the nearest heavens with ornaments of stars,

We have indeed adorned the lowest heaven with stars as ornaments.

Indeed We have adorned the lowest heaven with the finery of the stars,

We have indeed adorned the lowest heaven (the heaven of the world) with an ornament – the stars;

Verily, We have beautified and embellished the nearer space (- the heaven visible to you) with an excellent embellishment, the stars and planets.

That We decorated/beautified the sky/space (of) the present world with the stars`/planets` decoration/beauty

We have indeed adorned the lowest heaven with stars as ornaments.

Surely We have adorned the nearest heaven with an adornment, the stars

Verily! We have adorned the near heaven with the stars (for beauty).

The Lord of the heavens and the earth and what is between them, and the Lord of the eastern lands.

Surely We have adorned the nearest heaven with an adornment, the stars,

Lo! We have adorned the lowest heaven with an ornament, the planets;

We have decked the lower heavens with stars

We have adorned the lower heaven with the adornment of the planets,

Verily, We have adorned the near heaven with the stars.

We have adorned the lowest heaven with the beauty of the planets;

We have adorned the lower heaven with the beauty of the planets.

We have indeed adorned the lowest heaven with an adornment, the stars, that is to say, [adorned] with their light or with them [the stars] (the genitive annexation [bi-znati'l-kawkib] is for explication; similarly [explicative] is the reading of bi-znatin, `with an adornment', with nunation, [the adornment] explained as being `the stars');

The Adornment and Protection of the Heaven comes from Allah

Allah says,

إِنَّا زَيَّنَّا السَّمَاء الدُّنْيَا بِزِينَةٍ الْكَوَاكِبِ



Verily, We have adorned the near heaven with the stars.

Allah tells us that He has adorned the lowest heaven with the heavenly bodies for those among the people of the earth who look at it. The stars and planets in the sky give light to the people of earth, as Allah says;

وَلَقَدْ زَيَّنَّا السَّمَأءَ الدُّنْيَا بِمَصَـبِيحَ وَجَعَلْنَـهَا رُجُوماً لِّلشَّيَـطِينِ وَأَعْتَدْنَا لَهُمْ عَذَابَ السَّعِيرِ

And indeed We have adorned the nearest heaven with lamps, and We have made such lamps (as) missiles to drive away the Shayatin, and have prepared for them the torment of the blazing Fire. (67;5)

وَلَقَدْ جَعَلْنَا فِى السَّمَاءِ بُرُوجًا وَزَيَّنَّـهَا لِلنَّـظِرِينَ

وَحَفِظْنَـهَا مِن كُلِّ شَيْطَـنٍ رَّجِيمٍ

إِلاَّ مَنِ اسْتَرَقَ السَّمْعَ فَأَتْبَعَهُ شِهَابٌ مُّبِينٌ

And indeed, We have put the big stars in the heaven and We beautified it for the beholders. And We have guarded it from every outcast Shaytan. Except him who steals the hearing then he is pursued by a clear flaming fire. (15;16-18)

And Allah says here

We have embellished the vault of the lowermost heaven with the brilliancy and splendour of the inlaid stars
