لُعِنَ الَّذِيْنَ كَفَرُوْا مِنْۢ بَنِيْٓ اِسْرَاۤءِيْلَ عَلٰى لِسَانِ دَاوٗدَ وَعِيْسَى ابْنِ مَرْيَمَ ۗذٰلِكَ بِمَا عَصَوْا وَّكَانُوْا يَعْتَدُوْنَ  ( المائدة: ٧٨ )

ذَٰلِكَ
that (was)
bimā
بِمَا
because
ʿaṣaw
عَصَوا۟
they disobeyed
wakānū
وَّكَانُوا۟
and they were
yaʿtadūna
يَعْتَدُونَ
transgressing

Lu'inal lazeena kafaroo mim Baneee israaa'eela 'alaa lisaani Daawooda wa 'Eesab ni Maryam; zaalika bimaa 'asaw wa kaanoo ya tadoon (al-Māʾidah 5:78)

Sahih International:

Cursed were those who disbelieved among the Children of Israel by the tongue of David and of Jesus, the son of Mary. That was because they disobeyed and [habitually] transgressed. (Al-Ma'idah [5] : 78)

1 Mufti Taqi Usmani

On those who disbelieve from among the children of Isrā’īl , a curse was pronounced by Dawūd and ‘Īsā, Son of Maryam. All this because they disobeyed and used to cross the limits
