وَإِذَا
And when
رَأَوْا۟
they saw
تِجَٰرَةً
a transaction
أَوْ
or
لَهْوًا
a sport
ٱنفَضُّوٓا۟
they rushed
إِلَيْهَا
to it
وَتَرَكُوكَ
and left you
قَآئِمًاۚ
standing
قُلْ
Say
مَا
"What
عِندَ
(is) with
ٱللَّهِ
Allah
خَيْرٌ
(is) better
مِّنَ
than
ٱللَّهْوِ
the sport
وَمِنَ
and from
ٱلتِّجَٰرَةِۚ
(any) transaction
وَٱللَّهُ
And Allah
خَيْرُ
(is the) Best
ٱلرَّٰزِقِينَ
(of) the Providers"
Wa izaa ra'aw tijaaratan aw lahwanin faddooo ilaihaa wa tarakooka qaaa'imaa; qul maa 'indal laahi khairum minal lahwi wa minat tijaarah; wallaahu khayrur raaziqeen
But [on one occasion] when they saw a transaction or a diversion, [O Muhammad], they rushed to it and left you standing. Say, "What is with Allah is better than diversion and than a transaction, and Allah is the best of providers."
