هُوَ الَّذِيْ يُسَيِّرُكُمْ فِى الْبَرِّ وَالْبَحْرِۗ حَتّٰٓى اِذَا كُنْتُمْ فِىْ الْفُلْكِۚ وَجَرَيْنَ بِهِمْ بِرِيْحٍ طَيِّبَةٍ وَّفَرِحُوْا بِهَا جَاۤءَتْهَا رِيْحٌ عَاصِفٌ وَّجَاۤءَهُمُ الْمَوْجُ مِنْ كُلِّ مَكَانٍ وَّظَنُّوْٓا اَنَّهُمْ اُحِيْطَ بِهِمْۙ دَعَوُا اللّٰهَ مُخْلِصِيْنَ لَهُ الدِّيْنَ ەۚ لَىِٕنْ اَنْجَيْتَنَا مِنْ هٰذِهٖ لَنَكُوْنَنَّ مِنَ الشّٰكِرِيْنَ ( يونس: ٢٢ )
Huwal lazee yusaiyirukum fil barri walbahri hattaaa izaa kuntum fil fulki wa jaraina bihim bireeh in taiyibatinw wa farihoo bihaa jaaa'at haa reehun 'aasifunw wa jaaa'ahumul mawju min kulli makaaninw wa zannooo annahum uheeta bihim da'awul laaha mukhliseena lahud deena la'in anjaitanaa min haazihee lanakoonannna minash shaakireen (al-Yūnus 10:22)
English Sahih:
It is He who enables you to travel on land and sea until, when you are in ships and they sail with them by a good wind and they rejoice therein, there comes a storm wind and the waves come upon them from every place and they expect to be engulfed, they supplicate Allah, sincere to Him in religion, "If You should save us from this, we will surely be among the thankful." (Yunus [10] : 22)

C'est Lui qui vous fait aller sur terre et sur mer, quand vous êtes en bateau. [Ces bateaux] les emportèrent, grâce à un bon vent. Ils s'en réjouirent jusqu'au moment où, assaillis par un vent impétueux, assaillis de tous côtés par les vagues, se jugeant enveloppés [par la mort], ils prièrent Allah, Lui vouant le culte [et disant]: «Certes, si Tu nous sauves de ceci, nous serons parmi les reconnaissants!» (Yunus [10] : 22)

Ô gens, c’est Allah qui fait que vous vous déplaciez sur la terre ferme à pieds et sur vos montures. Il est aussi Celui qui fait que vous vous déplaciez en mer dans des bateaux. Quand vous êtes en mer sur des bateaux et qu’un vent favorable vous fait naviguer, les passagers se réjouissent de ce vent. Puis lorsqu’ils se retrouvent au milieu d’une forte tempête et que les vagues les entourent de toutes parts, ils implorent Allah Seul sans rien Lui associer en ces termes, parce qu’ils sont persuadés qu’ils vont périr: Si Tu nous sauves de cette dangereuse catastrophe, nous serons du nombre de ceux qui Te seront reconnaissants pour Tes bienfaits.
