وَاَخَذَ الَّذِيْنَ ظَلَمُوا الصَّيْحَةُ فَاَصْبَحُوْا فِيْ دِيَارِهِمْ جٰثِمِيْنَۙ ( هود: ٦٧ )
wa-akhadha
وَأَخَذَ
And seized
Et a saisi
alladhīna
ٱلَّذِينَ
those who
ceux qui
ẓalamū
ظَلَمُوا۟
wronged
ont fait injustice
l-ṣayḥatu
ٱلصَّيْحَةُ
the thunderous blast
le cri,
fa-aṣbaḥū
فَأَصْبَحُوا۟
then they became
ils sont donc devenus
fī
فِى
in
dans
diyārihim
دِيَٰرِهِمْ
their homes
leurs demeures
jāthimīna
جَٰثِمِينَ
fallen prone
gisant
Wa akhazal lazeena zalamus saihatu fa asbahoo fee diyaarihim jaasimeena (Hūd 11:67)
English Sahih:
And the shriek seized those who had wronged, and they became within their homes [corpses] fallen prone (Hud [11] : 67)
Muhammad Hamidullah:
Et le Cri saisit les injustes. Et les voilà foudroyés dans leurs demeures, (Hud [11] : 67)
