الَّذِيْ جَعَلَ لَكُمُ الْاَرْضَ فِرَاشًا وَّالسَّمَاۤءَ بِنَاۤءً ۖوَّاَنْزَلَ مِنَ السَّمَاۤءِ مَاۤءً فَاَخْرَجَ بِهٖ مِنَ الثَّمَرٰتِ رِزْقًا لَّكُمْ ۚ فَلَا تَجْعَلُوْا لِلّٰهِ اَنْدَادًا وَّاَنْتُمْ تَعْلَمُوْنَ ( البقرة: ٢٢ )
Allazee ja'ala lakumul arda firaashanw wassamaaa'a binaaa 'anw wa anzala minassamaaa'i maaa'an fa akhraja bihee minas samaraati rizqal lakum falaa taj'aloo lillaahi andaadanw wa antum ta'lamoon (al-Baq̈arah 2:22)
English Sahih:
[He] who made for you the earth a bed [spread out] and the sky a ceiling and sent down from the sky, rain and brought forth thereby fruits as provision for you. So do not attribute to Allah equals while you know [that there is nothing similar to Him]. (Al-Baqarah [2] : 22)
Muhammad Hamidullah:
C'est Lui qui vous a fait la terre pour lit, et le ciel pour toit; qui précipite la pluie du ciel et par elle fait surgir toutes sortes de fruits pour vous nourrir, ne Lui cherchez donc pas des égaux, alors que vous savez (tout cela). (Al-Baqarah [2] : 22)

C’est Lui qui a fait pour vous, de la Terre, une étendue nivelée et a fait que le ciel soit solidement bâti au-dessus d’elle. Il est le Bienfaiteur (`al-mun’imu) qui fait tomber la pluie et qui fait sortir de la terre des récoltes variées pourvoyant ainsi à votre subsistance. N’attribuez donc pas à Allah des associés et des semblables alors que vous savez qu’il n’existe pas d’autre créateur qu’Allah.
