الَّذِيْنَ اِذَا ذُكِرَ اللّٰهُ وَجِلَتْ قُلُوْبُهُمْ وَالصَّابِرِيْنَ عَلٰى مَآ اَصَابَهُمْ وَالْمُقِيْمِى الصَّلٰوةِۙ وَمِمَّا رَزَقْنٰهُمْ يُنْفِقُوْنَ ( الحج: ٣٥ )
Allazeena izaa zukiral laahu wajilat quloobuhum wassaabireena 'alaa maaa asaabahum walmuqeemis Salaati wa mimmaa razaqnaahum yunfiqoon (al-Ḥajj 22:35)
English Sahih:
Who, when Allah is mentioned, their hearts are fearful, and [to] the patient over what has afflicted them, and the establishers of prayer and those who spend from what We have provided them. (Al-Hajj [22] : 35)
Muhammad Hamidullah:
ceux dont les cœurs frémissent quand le nom d'Allah est mentionné, ceux qui endurent ce qui les atteint et ceux qui accomplissent la Salât et dépensent de ce que Nous leur avons attribué. (Al-Hajj [22] : 35)

Ce sont ceux qui, lorsque le nom d’Allah est mentionné, redoutent Sa punition et s’abstiennent donc de Lui désobéir. Ils accomplissent la prière de manière complète, se montrent patients lorsqu’ils sont éprouvés et usent de ce dont Allah les a pourvus en bonnes œuvres.
