لَا تَحْسَبَنَّ الَّذِيْنَ كَفَرُوْا مُعْجِزِيْنَ فِى الْاَرْضِۚ وَمَأْوٰىهُمُ النَّارُۗ وَلَبِئْسَ الْمَصِيْرُ ࣖ ( النور: ٥٧ )

(Do) not
Ne
taḥsabanna
تَحْسَبَنَّ
think
pensez (pas) du tout
alladhīna
ٱلَّذِينَ
those who
ceux qui
kafarū
كَفَرُوا۟
disbelieve
ont mécru
muʿ'jizīna
مُعْجِزِينَ
(can) escape
(être) des gens qui (Le) rendent incapable
fī
فِى
in
sur
l-arḍi
ٱلْأَرْضِۚ
the earth
la terre.
wamawāhumu
وَمَأْوَىٰهُمُ
And their abode
Et leur refuge
l-nāru
ٱلنَّارُۖ
(will be) the Fire
(sera) Le Feu.
walabi'sa
وَلَبِئْسَ
and wretched is
Et comme est certainement mauvaise
l-maṣīru
ٱلْمَصِيرُ
the destination
la destination !
Laa tahsabannal lazeena kafaroo mu'jizeena fil ard; wa maawaahumun Naaru wa labi'sal maseer (an-Nūr 24:57)
English Sahih:
Never think that the disbelievers are causing failure [to Allah] upon the earth. Their refuge will be the Fire – and how wretched the destination. (An-Nur [24] : 57)
Muhammad Hamidullah:
Ne pense point que ceux qui ne croient pas puissent s'opposer à l'autorité d'Allah sur terre. Le Feu sera leur refuge. Quelle mauvaise destination. (An-Nur [24] : 57)
