وَقِيْلَ ادْعُوْا شُرَكَاۤءَكُمْ فَدَعَوْهُمْ فَلَمْ يَسْتَجِيْبُوْا لَهُمْ ۗوَرَاَوُا الْعَذَابَۚ لَوْ اَنَّهُمْ كَانُوْا يَهْتَدُوْنَ ( القصص: ٦٤ )
Wa qeelad 'oo shurakaaa'akum fada'awhum falam yastajeeboo lahum wa ra awul 'azaab; law annahum kaanoo yahtadoon (al-Q̈aṣaṣ 28:64)
English Sahih:
And it will be said, "Invoke your 'partners,'" and they will invoke them; but they will not respond to them, and they will see the punishment. If only they had followed guidance! (Al-Qasas [28] : 64)
Muhammad Hamidullah:
Et on [leur] dira: «Appelez vos associés». Ils les appelleront, mais ceux-ci ne leur répondront pas. Quand ils verront le châtiment, ils désireront alors avoir suivi le chemin droit (dans la vie d'ici-bas). (Al-Qasas [28] : 64)

On leur dira ensuite: Appelez vos associés afin qu’ils vous sauvent de l’opprobre. Ils les appelleront mais ils ne répondront pas à leur appel et ils verront le châtiment qui leur a été préparé. Ils souhaiteront alors avoir été guidés vers la vérité dans le bas monde.
