وَمَا كُنْتَ تَرْجُوْٓا اَنْ يُّلْقٰٓى اِلَيْكَ الْكِتٰبُ اِلَّا رَحْمَةً مِّنْ رَّبِّكَ فَلَا تَكُوْنَنَّ ظَهِيْرًا لِّلْكٰفِرِيْنَ ۖ ( القصص: ٨٦ )
wamā
وَمَا
And not
Et ne pas
kunta
كُنتَ
you were
tu avais
tarjū
تَرْجُوٓا۟
expecting
espéré
an
أَن
that
que
yul'qā
يُلْقَىٰٓ
would be sent down
soit envoyé
ilayka
إِلَيْكَ
to you
à toi
l-kitābu
ٱلْكِتَٰبُ
the Book
Le Livre,
illā
إِلَّا
except
(Il n’a pas été envoyé à toi) sauf
raḥmatan
رَحْمَةً
(as) a mercy
(par) miséricorde
min
مِّن
from
de
rabbika
رَّبِّكَۖ
your Lord
ton Maître.
falā
فَلَا
So (do) not
Donc ne
takūnanna
تَكُونَنَّ
be
sois (pas) du tout
ẓahīran
ظَهِيرًا
an assistant
un souteneur
lil'kāfirīna
لِّلْكَٰفِرِينَ
to the disbelievers
des mécréants.
Wa maa kunta tarjooo ai yulqaaa ilaikal Kitaabu illaa rahmatam mir Rabbika falaa takoonanna zaheeral lilkaafireen (al-Q̈aṣaṣ 28:86)
English Sahih:
And you were not expecting that the Book would be conveyed to you, but [it is] a mercy from your Lord. So do not be an assistant to the disbelievers. (Al-Qasas [28] : 86)
Muhammad Hamidullah:
Tu n'espérais nullement que le Livre te serait révélé. Ceci n'a été que par une miséricorde de ton Seigneur. Ne sois donc jamais un soutien pour les infidèles; (Al-Qasas [28] : 86)
