فَرِحِيْنَ بِمَآ اٰتٰىهُمُ اللّٰهُ مِنْ فَضْلِهٖۙ وَيَسْتَبْشِرُوْنَ بِالَّذِيْنَ لَمْ يَلْحَقُوْا بِهِمْ مِّنْ خَلْفِهِمْ ۙ اَلَّا خَوْفٌ عَلَيْهِمْ وَلَا هُمْ يَحْزَنُوْنَۘ ( آل عمران: ١٧٠ )
Fariheena bimaaa aataa humul laahu min fadlihee wa yastabshiroona billazeena lam yalhaqoo bihim min fadlihee wa yastabshiroona billazeena lam yalhaqoo bihim min khalfihim allaa khawfun 'alaihim wa laa hum yahzanoon (ʾĀl ʿImrān 3:170)
English Sahih:
Rejoicing in what Allah has bestowed upon them of His bounty, and they receive good tidings about those [to be martyred] after them who have not yet joined them – that there will be no fear concerning them, nor will they grieve. (Ali 'Imran [3] : 170)
Muhammad Hamidullah:
et joyeux de la faveur qu'Allah leur a accordée, et ravis que ceux qui sont restés derrière eux et ne les ont pas encore rejoints, ne connaîtront aucune crainte et ne seront point affligés. (Ali-'Imran [3] : 170)

Ils y sont emplis de bonheur et d’allégresse en raison de la faveur qu’Allah leur a accordée. Ils espèrent que leurs frères restés dans le bas monde les rejoignent en obtenant la même faveur par le martyre.
Ils n’éprouveront aucune crainte au sujet de ce qu’ils connaîtront dans l’au-delà ni ne seront affligés pour ce qu’ils auront manqué en ce bas monde.
