Al-Ma'idah Ayah 40

اَلَمْ تَعْلَمْ اَنَّ اللّٰهَ لَهٗ مُلْكُ السَّمٰوٰتِ وَالْاَرْضِۗ يُعَذِّبُ مَنْ يَّشَاۤءُ وَيَغْفِرُ لِمَنْ يَّشَاۤءُ ۗوَاللّٰهُ عَلٰى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيْرٌ  ( المائدة: ٤٠ )

ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ
(of) the heavens
(des) cieux
wal-arḍi
وَٱلْأَرْضِ
and the earth?
et la terre,
yuʿadhibu
يُعَذِّبُ
He punishes
il châtie
man
مَن
whom
quiconque
yashāu
يَشَآءُ
He wills
Il veut
wayaghfiru
وَيَغْفِرُ
and He forgives
et pardonne
liman
لِمَن
[to] whom
à quiconque
yashāu
يَشَآءُۗ
He wills
Il veut.
wal-lahu
وَٱللَّهُ
And Allah
Et Allâh
ʿalā
عَلَىٰ
(is) on
(est) de
kulli
كُلِّ
every
toute
shayin
شَىْءٍ
thing
chose
qadīrun
قَدِيرٌ
All-Powerful
parfaitement capable.

Alam ta'lam annal laaha lahoo mulkus samaawaati wal ardi yu'az zibu many-yashaa'u wa yaghfiru limany-yashaaa'; wallaahu 'alaa kulli shai'in Qadeer (al-Māʾidah 5:40)

English Sahih:

Do you not know that to Allah belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth? He punishes whom He wills and forgives whom He wills, and Allah is over all things competent. (Al-Ma'idah [5] : 40)

Muhammad Hamidullah:

Ne sais-tu pas qu'à Allah appartient la royauté des cieux et de la terre? Il châtie qui Il veut et pardonne à qui Il veut. Et Allah est Omnipotent. (Al-Ma'idah [5] : 40)

Ô Messager, tu sais qu’Allah possède les Cieux et la Terre dont Il dispose comme Il veut, qu’Il châtie qui Il veut par Sa justice et pardonne à qui Il veut par Sa grâce.
Allah a le pouvoir sur toute chose et rien ne Lui est possible.
