لَنْ تُغْنِيَ عَنْهُمْ اَمْوَالُهُمْ وَلَآ اَوْلَادُهُمْ مِّنَ اللّٰهِ شَيْـًٔاۗ اُولٰۤىِٕكَ اَصْحٰبُ النَّارِۗ هُمْ فِيْهَا خٰلِدُوْنَ ( المجادلة: ١٧ )

Never
Jamais ne
tugh'niya
تُغْنِىَ
will avail
servira
ʿanhum
عَنْهُمْ
them
à eux
amwāluhum
أَمْوَٰلُهُمْ
their wealth
leurs richesses
walā
وَلَآ
and not
et pas (non plus)
awlāduhum
أَوْلَٰدُهُم
their children
leurs descendants
mina
مِّنَ
against
contre
l-lahi
ٱللَّهِ
Allah
Allâh
shayan
شَيْـًٔاۚ
(in) anything
(en) quoi que ce soit.
ulāika
أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ
Those
Ceux-là (sont)
aṣḥābu
أَصْحَٰبُ
(will be) companions
(les) compagnons
l-nāri
ٱلنَّارِۖ
(of) the Fire
(du) Feu.
hum
هُمْ
they
Ils (seront)
fīhā
فِيهَا
in it
en lui
khālidūna
خَٰلِدُونَ
will abide forever
éternellement restants.
Lan tughniya 'anhum amwaaluhum wa laaa awladuhum minal laahi shai'aa; ulaaa 'ika As haabun Naari hum feehaa khaalidoon (al-Mujādilah 58:17)
English Sahih:
Never will their wealth or their children avail them against Allah at all. Those are the companions of the Fire; they will abide therein eternally (Al-Mujadila [58] : 17)
Muhammad Hamidullah:
Ni leurs biens, ni leurs enfants ne leur seront d'aucune utilité contre la [punition] d'Allah. Ce sont les gens du Feu où ils demeureront éternellement. (Al-Mujadalah [58] : 17)
