Al-An'am Ayah 26

وَهُمْ يَنْهَوْنَ عَنْهُ وَيَنْـَٔوْنَ عَنْهُ ۚوَاِنْ يُّهْلِكُوْنَ اِلَّآ اَنْفُسَهُمْ وَمَا يَشْعُرُوْنَ   ( الأنعام: ٢٦ )

wahum
وَهُمْ
And they
Et ils
yanhawna
يَنْهَوْنَ
forbid (others)
interdissent
ʿanhu
عَنْهُ
from it
de lui
wayanawna
وَيَنْـَٔوْنَ
and they keep away
et s’éloignent
ʿanhu
عَنْهُۖ
from it
de lui.
wa-in
وَإِن
And not
Et ne pas
yuh'likūna
يُهْلِكُونَ
they destroy
ils détruisent
illā
إِلَّآ
except
sauf
anfusahum
أَنفُسَهُمْ
themselves
eux-mêmes
wamā
وَمَا
and not
et ne pas
yashʿurūna
يَشْعُرُونَ
they perceive
ils remarquent.

Wa hum yanhawna 'anhu wa yan'awna 'anhu wa iny yuhlikoona illaa anfusahum wa maa yash'uroon (al-ʾAnʿām 6:26)

English Sahih:

Ads by Muslim Ad Network

And they prevent [others] from him and are [themselves] remote from him. And they do not destroy except themselves, but they perceive [it] not. (Al-An'am [6] : 26)

Muhammad Hamidullah:

Ils empêchent [les gens] de s'approcher de lui et s'en écartent eux-mêmes. Ils ne feront périr qu'eux-mêmes sans s'en rendre compte. (Al-An'am [6] : 26)

Ce sont eux qui défendent aux gens de croire au Messager et eux-mêmes se détournent de lui, ne laissant personne bénéficier de ses enseignements ni n’en bénéficient eux-mêmes. Or ils ne font que mener leurs propres personnes à la perdition mais ils ne sont pas conscients de cela.
