فَكَذَّبُوْهُ فَاَخَذَهُمْ عَذَابُ يَوْمِ الظُّلَّةِ ۗاِنَّهٗ كَانَ عَذَابَ يَوْمٍ عَظِيْمٍ ( الشعراء: ١٨٩ )
But they denied him
فَكَذَّبُوهُ
तो उन्होंने झुठला दिया उसे
so seized them
فَأَخَذَهُمْ
तो पकड़ लिया उन्हें
(the) punishment
عَذَابُ
अज़ाब ने
(of the) day
يَوْمِ
दिन
(of) the shadow
ٱلظُّلَّةِۚ
सायबान के
Indeed it
إِنَّهُۥ
बेशक वो
was
كَانَ
था
(the) punishment
عَذَابَ
अज़ाब
(of) a Day
يَوْمٍ
बड़े दिन का
Great
عَظِيمٍ
बड़े दिन का
Fakaththaboohu faakhathahum 'athabu yawmi alththullati innahu kana 'athaba yawmin 'atheemin (aš-Šuʿarāʾ 26:189)

किन्तु उन्होंने उसे झुठला दिया। फिर छायावाले दिन की यातना ने आ लिया। निश्चय ही वह एक बड़े दिन की यातना थी
English Sahih:
And they denied him, so the punishment of the day of the black cloud seized them. Indeed, it was the punishment of a terrible day. ([26] Ash-Shu'ara : 189)
