ذٰلِكَ مِنْ اَنْۢبَاۤءِ الْغَيْبِ نُوْحِيْهِ اِلَيْكَ ۗوَمَا كُنْتَ لَدَيْهِمْ اِذْ يُلْقُوْنَ اَقْلَامَهُمْ اَيُّهُمْ يَكْفُلُ مَرْيَمَۖ وَمَا كُنْتَ لَدَيْهِمْ اِذْ يَخْتَصِمُوْنَ ( آل عمران: ٤٤ )
Thalika min anbai alghaybi nooheehi ilayka wama kunta ladayhim ith yulqoona aqlamahum ayyuhum yakfulu maryama wama kunta ladayhim ith yakhtasimoona (ʾĀl ʿImrān 3:44)

यह परोक्ष की सूचनाओं में से है, जिसकी वह्य हम तुम्हारी ओर कर रहे है। तुम तो उस समय उनके पास नहीं थे, जब वे अपनी क़लमों को फेंक रहे थ कि उनमें कौन मरयम का संरक्षक बने और न उनके समय थे, जब वे आपस में झगड़ रहे थे
English Sahih:
That is from the news of the unseen which We reveal to you, [O Muhammad]. And you were not with them when they cast their pens as to which of them should be responsible for Mary. Nor were you with them when they disputed. ([3] Ali 'Imran : 44)

(ऐ रसूल) ये ख़बर गैब की ख़बरों में से है जो हम तुम्हारे पास 'वही' के ज़रिए से भेजते हैं (ऐ रसूल) तुम तो उन सरपरस्ताने मरियम के पास मौजूद न थे जब वह लोग अपना अपना क़लम दरिया में बतौर क़ुरआ के डाल रहे थे (देखें) कौन मरियम का कफ़ील बनता है और न तुम उस वक्त उनके पास मौजूद थे जब वह लोग आपस में झगड़ रहे थे
