ذٰلِكُمْ بِاَنَّهٗٓ اِذَا دُعِيَ اللّٰهُ وَحْدَهٗ كَفَرْتُمْۚ وَاِنْ يُّشْرَكْ بِهٖ تُؤْمِنُوْا ۗفَالْحُكْمُ لِلّٰهِ الْعَلِيِّ الْكَبِيْرِ ( غافر: ١٢ )
"That
ذَٰلِكُم
ये तुम्हारा(अंजाम)
(is) because
بِأَنَّهُۥٓ
इस लिए कि
when
إِذَا
जब
Allah was invoked
دُعِىَ
पुकारा जाता
Allah was invoked
ٱللَّهُ
अल्लाह
Alone
وَحْدَهُۥ
अकेले उसी को
you disbelieved
كَفَرْتُمْۖ
इन्कार करते थे तुम
but if
وَإِن
और अगर
(others) were associated
يُشْرَكْ
शरीक ठहराया जाता
with Him
بِهِۦ
साथ उसके
you believed
تُؤْمِنُوا۟ۚ
तो तुम मान जाते
So the judgment
فَٱلْحُكْمُ
पस फ़ैसला
(is) with Allah
لِلَّهِ
अल्लाह ही के लिए है
the Most High
ٱلْعَلِىِّ
जो बहुत बुलन्द है
the Most Great"
ٱلْكَبِيرِ
बहुत बड़ा है
Thalikum biannahu itha du'iya Allahu wahdahu kafartum wain yushrak bihi tuminoo faalhukmu lillahi al'aliyyi alkabeeri (Ghāfir 40:12)

वह (बुरा परिणाम) तो इसलिए सामने आएगा कि जब अकेला अल्लाह को पुकारा जाता है तो तुम इनकार करते हो। किन्तु यदि उसके साथ साझी ठहराया जाए तो तुम मान लेते हो। तो अब फ़ैसला तो अल्लाह ही के हाथ में है, जो सर्वोच्च बड़ा महान है। -
English Sahih:
[They will be told], "That is because, when Allah was called upon alone, you disbelieved; but if others were associated with Him, you believed. So the judgement is with Allah, the Most High, the Grand." ([40] Ghafir : 12)
