وَاِذَا بُشِّرَ اَحَدُهُمْ بِمَا ضَرَبَ لِلرَّحْمٰنِ مَثَلًا ظَلَّ وَجْهُهٗ مُسْوَدًّا وَّهُوَ كَظِيْمٌ ( الزخرف: ١٧ )
And when
وَإِذَا
हालाँकि जब
is given good news
بُشِّرَ
ख़ुशख़बरी दी जाती है
(to) one of them
أَحَدُهُم
उनमें से किसी एक को
of what
بِمَا
साथ उसके जो
he sets up
ضَرَبَ
उसने बयान की
for the Most Gracious
لِلرَّحْمَٰنِ
रहमान के लिए
(as) a likeness
مَثَلًا
मिसाल
becomes
ظَلَّ
हो जाता है
his face
وَجْهُهُۥ
चेहरा उसका
dark
مُسْوَدًّا
सियाह
and he
وَهُوَ
और वो
(is) filled with grief
كَظِيمٌ
ग़म से भरा होता है
Waitha bushshira ahaduhum bima daraba lilrrahmani mathalan thalla wajhuhu muswaddan wahuwa katheemun (az-Zukhruf 43:17)

और हाल यह है कि जब उनमें से किसी को उसकी मंगल सूचना दी जाती है, जो वह रहमान के लिए बयान करता है, तो उसके मुँह पर कलौंस छा जाती है और वह ग़म के मारे घुटा-घुटा रहने लगता है
English Sahih:
And when one of them is given good tidings of that which he attributes to the Most Merciful in comparison [i.e., a daughter], his face becomes dark, and he suppresses grief. ([43] Az-Zukhruf : 17)
