وَعَلَى الَّذِيْنَ هَادُوْا حَرَّمْنَا كُلَّ ذِيْ ظُفُرٍۚ وَمِنَ الْبَقَرِ وَالْغَنَمِ حَرَّمْنَا عَلَيْهِمْ شُحُوْمَهُمَآ اِلَّا مَا حَمَلَتْ ظُهُوْرُهُمَآ اَوِ الْحَوَايَآ اَوْ مَا اخْتَلَطَ بِعَظْمٍۗ ذٰلِكَ جَزَيْنٰهُمْ بِبَغْيِهِمْۚ وَاِنَّا لَصٰدِقُوْنَ ( الأنعام: ١٤٦ )
Wa'ala allatheena hadoo harramna kulla thee thufurin wamina albaqari waalghanami harramna 'alayhim shuhoomahuma illa ma hamalat thuhooruhuma awi alhawaya aw ma ikhtalata bi'athmin thalika jazaynahum bibaghyihim wainna lasadiqoona (al-ʾAnʿām 6:146)

और उन लोगों के लिए जो यहूदी हुए हमने नाख़ूनवाला जानवर हराम किया और गाय और बकरी में से इन दोनों की चरबियाँ उनके लिए हराम कर दी थीं, सिवाय उस (चर्बी) के जो उन दोनों की पीठों या आँखों से लगी हुई या हड़्डी से मिली हुई हो। यह बात ध्यान में रखो। हमने उन्हें उनकी सरकशी का बदला दिया था और निश्चय ही हम सच्चे है
English Sahih:
And to those who are Jews We prohibited every animal of uncloven hoof; and of the cattle and the sheep We prohibited to them their fat, except what adheres to their backs or the entrails or what is joined with bone. [By] that We repaid them for their transgression. And indeed, We are truthful. ([6] Al-An'am : 146)

और हमने यहूदियों पर तमाम नाख़ूनदार जानवर हराम कर दिये थे और गाय और बकरी दोनों की चरबियां भी उन पर हराम कर दी थी मगर जो चरबी उनकी दोनों पीठ या आतों पर लगी हो या हडड्ी से मिली हुई हो (वह हलाल थी) ये हमने उन्हें उनकी सरक़शी की सज़ा दी थी और उसमें तो शक ही नहीं कि हम ज़रूर सच्चे हैं
