اَسْكِنُوْهُنَّ مِنْ حَيْثُ سَكَنْتُمْ مِّنْ وُّجْدِكُمْ وَلَا تُضَاۤرُّوْهُنَّ لِتُضَيِّقُوْا عَلَيْهِنَّۗ وَاِنْ كُنَّ اُولَاتِ حَمْلٍ فَاَنْفِقُوْا عَلَيْهِنَّ حَتّٰى يَضَعْنَ حَمْلَهُنَّۚ فَاِنْ اَرْضَعْنَ لَكُمْ فَاٰتُوْهُنَّ اُجُوْرَهُنَّۚ وَأْتَمِرُوْا بَيْنَكُمْ بِمَعْرُوْفٍۚ وَاِنْ تَعَاسَرْتُمْ فَسَتُرْضِعُ لَهٗٓ اُخْرٰىۗ ( الطلاق: ٦ )
Askinoohunna min haythu sakantum min wujdikum wala tudarroohunna litudayyiqoo 'alayhinna wain kunna olati hamlin faanfiqoo 'alayhinna hatta yada'na hamlahunna fain arda'na lakum faatoohunna ojoorahunna watamiroo baynakum bima'roofin wain ta'asartum fasaturdi'u lahu okhra (aṭ-Ṭalāq̈ 65:6)

अपनी हैसियत के अनुसार यहाँ तुम स्वयं रहते हो उन्हें भी उसी जगह रखो। और उन्हें तंग करने के लिए उन्हें हानि न पहुँचाओ। और यदि वे गर्भवती हो तो उनपर ख़र्च करते रहो जब तक कि उनका शिशु-प्रसव न हो जाए। फिर यदि वे तुम्हारे लिए (शिशु को) दूध पिलाएँ तो तुम उन्हें उनका पारिश्रामिक दो और आपस में भली रीति से परस्पर बातचीत के द्वार कोई बात तय कर लो। और यदि तुम दोनों में कोई कठिनाई हो तो फिर कोई दूसरी स्त्री उसके लिए दूध पिला देगी
English Sahih:
Lodge them [in a section] of where you dwell out of your means and do not harm them in order to oppress them. And if they should be pregnant, then spend on them until they give birth. And if they breastfeed for you, then give them their payment and confer among yourselves in the acceptable way; but if you are in discord, then there may breastfeed for him [i.e., the father] another woman. ([65] At-Talaq : 6)

मुतलक़ा औरतों को (इद्दे तक) अपने मक़दूर मुताबिक दे रखो जहाँ तुम ख़ुद रहते हो और उनको तंग करने के लिए उनको तकलीफ न पहुँचाओ और अगर वह हामेला हो तो बच्चा जनने तक उनका खर्च देते रहो फिर (जनने के बाद) अगर वह बच्चे को तुम्हारी ख़ातिर दूध पिलाए तो उन्हें उनकी (मुनासिब) उजरत दे दो और बाहम सलाहियत से दस्तूर के मुताबिक बात चीत करो और अगर तुम बाहम कश म कश करो तो बच्चे को उसके (बाप की) ख़ातिर से कोई और औरत दूध पिला देगी
