فَاَرۡسَلۡنَا عَلَيۡهِمُ الطُّوۡفَانَ وَالۡجَـرَادَ وَالۡقُمَّلَ وَالضَّفَادِعَ وَالدَّمَ اٰيٰتٍ مُّفَصَّلٰتٍ فَاسۡتَكۡبَرُوۡا وَكَانُوۡا قَوۡمًا مُّجۡرِمِيۡنَ(الأعراف :133)
فَأَرْسَلْنَا
So We sent
عَلَيْهِمُ
on them
ٱلطُّوفَانَ
the flood
وَٱلْجَرَادَ
and the locusts
وَٱلْقُمَّلَ
and the lice
وَٱلضَّفَادِعَ
and the frogs
وَٱلدَّمَ
and the blood
ءَايَٰتٍ
(as) signs
مُّفَصَّلَٰتٍ
manifest
فَٱسْتَكْبَرُوا۟
but they showed arrogance
وَكَانُوا۟
and they were
قَوْمًا
a people
مُّجْرِمِينَ
criminal
Faarsalna 'alayhimu alttoofana waaljarada waalqummala waalddafadi'a waalddama ayatin mufassalatin faistakbaroo wakanoo qawman mujrimeena
Sahih International:
So We sent upon them the flood and locusts and lice and frogs and blood as distinct signs, but they were arrogant and were a criminal people.
