وَلَوْ شَاۤءَ رَبُّكَ لَاٰمَنَ مَنْ فِى الْاَرْضِ كُلُّهُمْ جَمِيْعًاۗ اَفَاَنْتَ تُكْرِهُ النَّاسَ حَتّٰى يَكُوْنُوْا مُؤْمِنِيْنَ ( يونس: ٩٩ )
walaw shāa
وَلَوْ شَآءَ
And if (had) willed
ഉദ്ദേശിച്ചിരുന്നെങ്കില്‍
rabbuka
رَبُّكَ
your Lord
നിന്റെ റബ്ബ്‌
laāmana
لَءَامَنَ
surely (would) have believed
വിശ്വസിക്കുക തന്നെ ചെയ്യുമായിരുന്നു
man fī l-arḍi
مَن فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ
who (are) in the earth
ഭൂമിയിലുള്ളവര്‍
kulluhum
كُلُّهُمْ
all of them
അവരെല്ലാം
jamīʿan
جَمِيعًاۚ
together
മുഴുവനും
afa-anta
أَفَأَنتَ
Then will you
എന്നിരിക്കെ നീയോ
tuk'rihu
تُكْرِهُ
compel
നിര്‍ബന്ധിക്കുന്നു (നീ നിര്‍ബന്ധിക്കുകയോ)
l-nāsa
ٱلنَّاسَ
the mankind
മനുഷ്യരെ
ḥattā yakūnū
حَتَّىٰ يَكُونُوا۟
until they become
അവര്‍ ആകുവോളം, ആയിരിക്കുന്നത്‌ വരെ
mu'minīna
مُؤْمِنِينَ
believers?
സത്യവിശ്വാസികള്‍
Wa law shaaa'a Rabbuka la aamana man fil ardi kulluhum jamee'aa; afa anta tukrihun naasa hattaa yakoonoo mu'mineen (al-Yūnus 10:99)
English Sahih:
And had your Lord willed, those on earth would have believed – all of them entirely. Then, [O Muhammad], would you compel the people in order that they become believers? (Yunus [10] : 99)

നിന്റെ നാഥന്‍ ഇച്ഛിച്ചിരുന്നെങ്കില്‍ ഭൂമിയിലുള്ളവരൊക്കെയും സത്യവിശ്വാസം സ്വീകരിക്കുമായിരുന്നു. എന്നിരിക്കെ ജനങ്ങള്‍ വിശ്വാസികളാകാന്‍ നീ അവരെ നിര്‍ബന്ധിക്കുകയോ? (യൂനുസ് [10] : 99)
