قَالَ سَاٰوِيْٓ اِلٰى جَبَلٍ يَّعْصِمُنِيْ مِنَ الْمَاۤءِ ۗقَالَ لَا عَاصِمَ الْيَوْمَ مِنْ اَمْرِ اللّٰهِ اِلَّا مَنْ رَّحِمَ ۚوَحَالَ بَيْنَهُمَا الْمَوْجُ فَكَانَ مِنَ الْمُغْرَقِيْنَ ( هود: ٤٣ )
Qaala sa aaweee ilaa jabaliny ya'simunee minal maaa'; qaala laa 'aasimal yawma min amril laahi illaa mar rahim; wa haala bainahumal mawju fakaana minal mughraqeen (Hūd 11:43)
English Sahih:
[But] he said, "I will take refuge on a mountain to protect me from the water." [Noah] said, "There is no protector today from the decree of Allah, except for whom He gives mercy." And the waves came between them, and he was among the drowned. (Hud [11] : 43)
Karakunnu/Elayavoor (കാരകുന്ന് & എളയാവൂര്):
അവന് പറഞ്ഞു: ''ഞാനൊരു മലയില് അഭയം തേടിക്കൊള്ളാം. അതെന്നെ വെള്ളപ്പൊക്കത്തില് നിന്ന് രക്ഷിച്ചുകൊള്ളും.'' നൂഹ് പറഞ്ഞു: ''ഇന്ന് ദൈവ വിധിയില്നിന്ന് രക്ഷിക്കുന്ന ഒന്നുമില്ല. അവന് കരുണ കാണിക്കുന്നവരൊഴികെ.'' അപ്പോഴേക്കും അവര്ക്കിടയില് തിരമാല മറയിട്ടു. അങ്ങനെ അവന് മുങ്ങിമരിച്ചവരില് പെട്ടുപോയി. (ഹൂദ് [11] : 43)

അവന് പറഞ്ഞു: വെള്ളത്തില് നിന്ന് എനിക്ക് രക്ഷനല്കുന്ന വല്ല മലയിലും ഞാന് അഭയം പ്രാപിച്ചുകൊള്ളാം. അദ്ദേഹം പറഞ്ഞു: അല്ലാഹുവിന്റെ കല്പനയില് നിന്ന് ഇന്ന് രക്ഷനല്കാന് ആരുമില്ല; അവന് കരുണ ചെയ്തവര്ക്കൊഴികെ. (അപ്പോഴേക്കും) അവര് രണ്ട് പേര്ക്കുമിടയില് തിരമാല മറയിട്ടു. അങ്ങനെ അവന് മുക്കി നശിപ്പിക്കപ്പെട്ടവരുടെ കൂട്ടത്തിലായി.
