اَفَاَمِنُوْٓا اَنْ تَأْتِيَهُمْ غَاشِيَةٌ مِّنْ عَذَابِ اللّٰهِ اَوْ تَأْتِيَهُمُ السَّاعَةُ بَغْتَةً وَّهُمْ لَا يَشْعُرُوْنَ ( يوسف: ١٠٧ )
afa-aminū
أَفَأَمِنُوٓا۟
Do they then feel secure
എന്നാല്‍ (അപ്പോള്‍) അവര്‍ നിര്‍ഭയമായിരിക്കയോ, സമാധാനിച്ചിരിക്കയോ
an tatiyahum
أَن تَأْتِيَهُمْ
(against) that comes to them
അവര്‍ക്കു വരുന്നതിനെ
ghāshiyatun
غَٰشِيَةٌ
an overwhelming
വല്ല മൂടുന്ന സംഭവവും (പൊതു ആപത്തും)
min ʿadhābi
مِّنْ عَذَابِ
[of] punishment
ശിക്ഷയില്‍നിന്നു
l-lahi
ٱللَّهِ
(of) Allah
അല്ലാഹുവിന്റെ
aw tatiyahumu
أَوْ تَأْتِيَهُمُ
or comes to them
അല്ലെങ്കില്‍ അവര്‍ക്കുവരുന്നതിനെ
l-sāʿatu
ٱلسَّاعَةُ
the Hour
അന്ത്യസമയം
baghtatan
بَغْتَةً
suddenly
പെട്ടെന്ന്, യാദൃശ്ഛികമായി
wahum
وَهُمْ
while they
അവര്‍ ആയിക്കൊണ്ടു (ആയിരിക്കുന്ന വിധത്തില്‍)
lā yashʿurūna
لَا يَشْعُرُونَ
(do) not perceive?
അവര്‍ അറിയാതെ, ബോധാപ്പെടാതെ.
Afa aminooo an taatiya hum ghaashiyatum min 'azaabil laahi aw taatiyahumus Saa'atu baghtatanw wa hum laa yash'uroon (Yūsuf 12:107)
English Sahih:
Then do they feel secure that there will not come to them an overwhelming [aspect] of the punishment of Allah or that the Hour will not come upon them suddenly while they do not perceive? (Yusuf [12] : 107)
Karakunnu/Elayavoor (കാരകുന്ന് & എളയാവൂര്):
അവരെ ആവരണം ചെയ്യുന്ന അല്ലാഹുവിന്റെ ശിക്ഷ അവര്‍ക്ക് വന്നെത്തുന്നതിനെ സംബന്ധിച്ച് അവര്‍ നിര്‍ഭയരായിരിക്കയാണോ? അല്ലെങ്കില്‍ അവരോര്‍ക്കാത്ത നേരത്ത് പെട്ടെന്ന് അന്ത്യദിനം അവര്‍ക്ക് വന്നുപെടുന്നതിനെപ്പറ്റി? (യൂസുഫ് [12] : 107)
