وَجَاۤءَتْ سَيَّارَةٌ فَاَرْسَلُوْا وَارِدَهُمْ فَاَدْلٰى دَلْوَهٗ ۗقَالَ يٰبُشْرٰى هٰذَا غُلٰمٌ ۗوَاَسَرُّوْهُ بِضَاعَةً ۗوَاللّٰهُ عَلِيْمٌ ۢبِمَا يَعْمَلُوْنَ ( يوسف: ١٩ )
Wa jaaa'at saiyaaratun fa-arsaloo waaridahum fa adlaa dalwah; qaala yaa bushraa haaza ghulaam; wa asarroohu bi-daa'ah; wallaahu 'aleemum bimaa ya'maloon (Yūsuf 12:19)
English Sahih:
And there came a company of travelers; then they sent their water drawer, and he let down his bucket. He said, "Good news! Here is a boy." And they concealed him, [taking him] as merchandise; and Allah was Knowing of what they did. (Yusuf [12] : 19)
Karakunnu/Elayavoor (കാരകുന്ന് & എളയാവൂര്):
ഒരു യാത്രാസംഘം വന്നു. അവര് തങ്ങളുടെ വെള്ളം കോരിയെ അയച്ചു. അയാള് തന്റെ തൊട്ടി ഇറക്കി. അയാള് പറഞ്ഞു: ''ഹാ, എന്തൊരദ്ഭുതം! ഇതാ ഒരു കുട്ടി!'' അവര് ആ കുട്ടിയെ ഒരു കച്ചവടച്ചരക്കാക്കി ഒളിപ്പിച്ചുവെച്ചു. അവര് ചെയ്തുകൊണ്ടിരുന്നതിനെപ്പറ്റി നന്നായറിയുന്നവനാണ് അല്ലാഹു. (യൂസുഫ് [12] : 19)

ഒരു യാത്രാസംഘം വന്നു. അവര് അവര്ക്ക് വെള്ളം കൊണ്ടുവരുന്ന ജോലിക്കാരനെ അയച്ചു. അവന് തൻ്റെ തൊട്ടിയിറക്കി. അവന് പറഞ്ഞു: ഹാ, സന്തോഷം! ഇതാ ഒരു ബാലന്! അവര് ബാലനെ ഒരു കച്ചവടച്ചരക്കായി ഒളിച്ചുവെച്ചു. അവര് പ്രവര്ത്തിച്ചിരുന്നതിനെ പറ്റി അല്ലാഹു നല്ലവണ്ണം അറിയുന്നവനാകുന്നു.
