قَالَ بَلْ سَوَّلَتْ لَكُمْ اَنْفُسُكُمْ اَمْرًاۗ فَصَبْرٌ جَمِيْلٌ ۗعَسَى اللّٰهُ اَنْ يَّأْتِيَنِيْ بِهِمْ جَمِيْعًاۗ اِنَّهٗ هُوَ الْعَلِيْمُ الْحَكِيْمُ ( يوسف: ٨٣ )
Qaala bal sawwalat lakum anfusukum amran fasabrun jameelun 'asal laahu any yaa tiyanee bihim jamee'aa; innahoo Huwal 'Aleemul Hakeem (Yūsuf 12:83)
English Sahih:
[Jacob] said, "Rather, your souls have enticed you to something, so patience is most fitting. Perhaps Allah will bring them to me all together. Indeed, it is He who is the Knowing, the Wise." (Yusuf [12] : 83)

പിതാവ് പറഞ്ഞു: ''അല്ല, നിങ്ങളുടെ മനസ്സ് നിങ്ങളെ ഒരു കാര്യത്തിന് പ്രേരിപ്പിച്ചു. അതു നിങ്ങള്ക്ക് ചേതോഹരമായി തോന്നി. അതിനാല് നന്നായി ക്ഷമിക്കുക തന്നെ. ഒരുവേള അല്ലാഹു അവരെയെല്ലാവരെയും എന്റെ അടുത്തെത്തിച്ചേക്കാം. അവന് എല്ലാം അറിയുന്നവനും യുക്തിജ്ഞനും തന്നെ.'' (യൂസുഫ് [12] : 83)

അദ്ദേഹം (പിതാവ്) പറഞ്ഞു: അല്ല, നിങ്ങളുടെ മനസ്സുകള് നിങ്ങള്ക്ക് എന്തോകാര്യം ഭംഗിയായി തോന്നിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു. അതിനാല് നന്നായി ക്ഷമിക്കുക തന്നെ. അവരെല്ലാവരെയും അല്ലാഹു എന്റെ അടുത്ത് കൊണ്ടുവന്നു തന്നേക്കാവുന്നതാണ്. തീര്ച്ചയായും അവന് എല്ലാം അറിയുന്നവനും യുക്തിമാനുമാകുന്നു.
