تَاللّٰهِ لَقَدْ اَرْسَلْنَآ اِلٰٓى اُمَمٍ مِّنْ قَبْلِكَ فَزَيَّنَ لَهُمُ الشَّيْطٰنُ اَعْمَالَهُمْ فَهُوَ وَلِيُّهُمُ الْيَوْمَ وَلَهُمْ عَذَابٌ اَلِيْمٌ ( النحل: ٦٣ )
Tallaahi laqad arsalnaaa ilaaa umamim min qablika fazayyana lahumush Shaitaanu a'maalahum fahuwa waliyyuhumul yawma wa lahum 'azaabun aleem (an-Naḥl 16:63)
English Sahih:
By Allah, We did certainly send [messengers] to nations before you, but Satan made their deeds attractive to them. And he is their [i.e., the disbelievers] ally today [as well], and they will have a painful punishment. (An-Nahl [16] : 63)
Karakunnu/Elayavoor (കാരകുന്ന് & എളയാവൂര്):
അല്ലാഹുവാണ് സത്യം. നിനക്കു മുമ്പ് പല സമുദായങ്ങളിലേക്കും നാം ദൂതന്മാരെ അയച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്. അപ്പോഴൊക്കെ ആ ജനത്തിന്റെ ദുര്‍വൃത്തികള്‍ പിശാച് അവര്‍ക്ക് ചേതോഹരമാക്കിത്തോന്നിക്കുകയായിരുന്നു. അതിനാല്‍ അവനാണ് ഇന്ന് അവരുടെ രക്ഷാധികാരി. അവര്‍ക്ക് നോവേറിയ ശിക്ഷയുണ്ട്. (അന്നഹ്ല്‍ [16] : 63)

അല്ലാഹുവെ തന്നെയാണ, താങ്കള്‍ക്ക് മുമ്പ് പല സമുദായങ്ങളിലേക്കും നാം ദൂതന്മാരെ അയച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്. എന്നാല്‍ പിശാച് അവര്‍ക്ക് അവരുടെ (ദുഷ്‌)പ്രവര്‍ത്തനങ്ങള്‍ അലങ്കാരമായി തോന്നിക്കുകയാണ് ചെയ്തത്‌. അങ്ങനെ അവനാണ് ഇന്ന് അവരുടെ മിത്രം. അവര്‍ക്കുള്ളതാകട്ടെ വേദനാജനകമായ ശിക്ഷയാണുതാനും.
