اَلَّذِيْنَ اٰتَيْنٰهُمُ الْكِتٰبَ يَتْلُوْنَهٗ حَقَّ تِلَاوَتِهٖۗ اُولٰۤىِٕكَ يُؤْمِنُوْنَ بِهٖ ۗ وَمَنْ يَّكْفُرْ بِهٖ فَاُولٰۤىِٕكَ هُمُ الْخٰسِرُوْنَ ࣖ ( البقرة: ١٢١ )
alladhīna
ٱلَّذِينَ
Those
യാതൊരുകൂട്ടര്‍
ātaynāhumu
ءَاتَيْنَٰهُمُ
We have given them
അവര്‍ക്ക് നാം നല്‍കിയിരിക്കുന്നു
l-kitāba
ٱلْكِتَٰبَ
the Book
(വേദ)ഗ്രന്ഥം
yatlūnahu
يَتْلُونَهُۥ
recite it
അതവര്‍ പാരായണം ചെയ്യുന്ന നിലയില്‍
ḥaqqa tilāwatihi
حَقَّ تِلَاوَتِهِۦٓ
(as it has the) right (of) its recitation
അതിനെ ഓതുന്ന (പാരായണം ചെയ്യുന്ന) മുറപ്രകാരം
ulāika
أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ
Those (people)
അക്കൂട്ടര്‍
yu'minūna bihi
يُؤْمِنُونَ بِهِۦۗ
believe in it
അതില്‍ വിശ്വസിക്കും
waman
وَمَن
And whoever
ആരെങ്കിലും,വല്ലവരും
yakfur bihi
يَكْفُرْ بِهِۦ
disbelieves in it
അതില്‍ അവിശ്വസിക്കുന്ന(തായാല്‍)
fa-ulāika
فَأُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ
then those
എന്നാല്‍ അക്കൂട്ടര്‍
humu
هُمُ
they
അവര്‍ (തന്നെ)
l-khāsirūna
ٱلْخَٰسِرُونَ
(are) the losers
നഷ്ടക്കാര്‍
Allazeena aatainaahumul Kitaaba yatloonahoo haqqa tilaawatiheee ulaaa'ika yu'minoona bi; wa mai yakfur bihee fa ulaaa'ika humul khaasiroon (al-Baq̈arah 2:121)
English Sahih:
Those to whom We have given the Book recite it with its true recital. They [are the ones who] believe in it. And whoever disbelieves in it – it is they who are the losers. (Al-Baqarah [2] : 121)
Karakunnu/Elayavoor (കാരകുന്ന് & എളയാവൂര്):
നാം വേദഗ്രന്ഥം നല്‍കിയവര്‍ ആരോ അവരത് യഥാവിധി പാരായണം ചെയ്യുന്നു. അവരതില്‍ ആത്മാര്‍ഥമായി വിശ്വസിക്കുന്നു. അതിനെ നിഷേധിക്കുന്നവരാരോ അവര്‍ തന്നെയാണ് നഷ്ടംപറ്റിയവര്‍. (അല്‍ബഖറ [2] : 121)
