قَالَ اِنَّهٗ يَقُوْلُ اِنَّهَا بَقَرَةٌ لَّا ذَلُوْلٌ تُثِيْرُ الْاَرْضَ وَلَا تَسْقِى الْحَرْثَۚ مُسَلَّمَةٌ لَّاشِيَةَ فِيْهَا ۗ قَالُوا الْـٰٔنَ جِئْتَ بِالْحَقِّ فَذَبَحُوْهَا وَمَا كَادُوْا يَفْعَلُوْنَ ࣖ ( البقرة: ٧١ )
Qaala innahoo yaqoolu innahaa baqaratul laa zaloolun tuseerul arda wa laa tasqil harsa musallamatullaa shiyata feehaa; qaalul 'aana jita bilhaqq; fazabahoohaa wa maa kaado yaf'aloon (al-Baq̈arah 2:71)
English Sahih:
He said, "He says, 'It is a cow neither trained to plow the earth nor to irrigate the field, one free from fault with no spot upon her.'" They said, "Now you have come with the truth." So they slaughtered her, but they could hardly do it. (Al-Baqarah [2] : 71)
Karakunnu/Elayavoor (കാരകുന്ന് & എളയാവൂര്):
മൂസ പറഞ്ഞു: ''അല്ലാഹു അറിയിക്കുന്നു: 'നിലം ഉഴുതാനോ വിള നനയ്ക്കാനോ ഉപയോഗിക്കാത്തതും കലകളില്ലാത്തതും കുറ്റമറ്റതുമായ പശുവായിരിക്കണം അത്.'' അവര് പറഞ്ഞു: ''ശരി, ഇപ്പോഴാണ് നീ ശരിയായ വിവരം തന്നത്.'' അങ്ങനെ അവരതിനെ അറുത്തു. അവരത് ചെയ്യാന് തയ്യാറാകുമായിരുന്നില്ല. (അല്ബഖറ [2] : 71)

(അപ്പോള്) മൂസാ പറഞ്ഞു: നിലം ഉഴുതുവാനോ വിള നനയ്ക്കുവാനോ ഉപയോഗപ്പെടുത്തുന്നതല്ലാത്ത, പാടുകളൊന്നുമില്ലാത്ത അവികലമായ ഒരു പശുവായിരിക്കണം അതെന്നാണ് അല്ലാഹു പറയുന്നത്. അവര് പറഞ്ഞു: ഇപ്പോഴാണ് താങ്കള് ശരിയായ വിവരം വെളിപ്പെടുത്തിയത്. അങ്ങനെ അവര് അതിനെ അറുത്തു. അവര്ക്കത് നിറവേറ്റുക എളുപ്പമായിരുന്നില്ല.
