وَمِنْ اٰيٰتِهٖ يُرِيْكُمُ الْبَرْقَ خَوْفًا وَّطَمَعًا وَّيُنَزِّلُ مِنَ السَّمَاۤءِ مَاۤءً فَيُحْيٖ بِهِ الْاَرْضَ بَعْدَ مَوْتِهَاۗ اِنَّ فِيْ ذٰلِكَ لَاٰيٰتٍ لِّقَوْمٍ يَّعْقِلُوْنَ ( الروم: ٢٤ )
Wa min Aayaatihee yureekumul barqa khawfanw wa tama'anw wa yunazzilu minas samaaa'i maaa'an fa yuhyee bihil arda ba'da mawtihaaa inna fee zaalika la Aayaatil liqawminy ya'qiloon (ar-Rūm 30:24)
English Sahih:
And of His signs is [that] He shows you the lightning [causing] fear and aspiration, and He sends down rain from the sky by which He brings to life the earth after its lifelessness. Indeed in that are signs for a people who use reason. (Ar-Rum [30] : 24)

നിങ്ങള്ക്ക് പേടിയും പ്രതീക്ഷയുമുണര്ത്തുന്ന മിന്നല്പ്പിണര് കാണിച്ചുതരുന്നതും മാനത്തുനിന്ന് വെള്ളമിറക്കിത്തന്ന് അതിലൂടെ ഭൂമിയെ അതിന്റെ മൃതാവസ്ഥക്കുശേഷം ജീവസ്സുറ്റതാക്കുന്നതും അവന്റെ ദൃഷ്ടാന്തങ്ങളില് പെട്ടവയാണ്. ചിന്തിക്കുന്ന ജനത്തിന് തീര്ച്ചയായും ഇതില് ഒട്ടേറെ തെളിവുകളുണ്ട്. (അര്റൂം [30] : 24)

ഭയവും ആശയും ഉളവാക്കിക്കൊണ്ട് നിങ്ങള്ക്ക് മിന്നല് കാണിച്ചുതരുന്നതും ആകാശത്ത് നിന്ന് വെള്ളം ചൊരിയുകയും അത് മൂലം ഭൂമിക്ക് അതിന്റെ നിര്ജീവാവസ്ഥയ്ക്ക് ശേഷം ജീവന് നല്കുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നതും അവന്റെ ദൃഷ്ടാന്തങ്ങളില് പെട്ടതത്രെ. തീര്ച്ചയായും അതില് ചിന്തിച്ച് മനസ്സിലാക്കുന്ന ജനങ്ങള്ക്ക് ദൃഷ്ടാന്തങ്ങളുണ്ട്.
