اَلَمْ تَرَ اَنَّ اللّٰهَ يُوْلِجُ الَّيْلَ فِى النَّهَارِ وَيُوْلِجُ النَّهَارَ فِى الَّيْلِ وَسَخَّرَ الشَّمْسَ وَالْقَمَرَۖ كُلٌّ يَّجْرِيْٓ اِلٰٓى اَجَلٍ مُّسَمًّى وَّاَنَّ اللّٰهَ بِمَا تَعْمَلُوْنَ خَبِيْرٌ ( لقمان: ٢٩ )
Alam tara annal laaha yoolijul laila fin nahaari wa yoolijun nahaara fil laili wa sakhkharash shamsa wal qamara kulluny yajreee ilaaa ajalim musammanw wa annal laaha bimaa ta'malona Khabeer (Luq̈mān 31:29)
English Sahih:
Do you not see [i.e., know] that Allah causes the night to enter the day and causes the day to enter the night and has subjected the sun and the moon, each running [its course] for a specified term, and that Allah, of whatever you do, is Aware? (Luqman [31] : 29)

തീര്ച്ചയായും അല്ലാഹു രാവിനെ പകലില് കടത്തിവിടുന്നു; പകലിനെ രാവിലും പ്രവേശിപ്പിക്കുന്നു. അവന് സൂര്യചന്ദ്രന്മാരെ അധീനപ്പെടുത്തിയിരിക്കുന്നു. എല്ലാം ഒരു നിശ്ചിത അവധിവരെ ചരിച്ചുകൊണ്ടിരിക്കുന്നു. തീര്ച്ചയായും നിങ്ങള് പ്രവര്ത്തിക്കുന്നതിനെപ്പറ്റിയൊക്കെ സൂക്ഷ്മമായി അറിയുന്നവനാണ് അല്ലാഹു. ഇതൊന്നും നിങ്ങള് കണ്ടറിയുന്നില്ലേ? (ലുഖ്മാന് [31] : 29)

അല്ലാഹു രാത്രിയെ പകലില് പ്രവേശിപ്പിക്കുകയും, പകലിനെ രാത്രിയില് പ്രവേശിപ്പിക്കുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നു എന്ന് നീ കണ്ടില്ലേ? അവന് സൂര്യനെയും ചന്ദ്രനെയും അധീനപ്പെടുത്തുകയും ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നു. എല്ലാം നിര്ണിതമായ ഒരു അവധിവരെ സഞ്ചരിച്ചു കൊണ്ടിരിക്കുന്നു. നിങ്ങള് പ്രവര്ത്തിക്കുന്നതിനെപ്പറ്റിയെല്ലാം അല്ലാഹു സൂക്ഷ്മമായി അറിയുന്നവനാണെന്നും (നീ ആലോചിച്ചിട്ടില്ലേ?)
